Stop over driving

The accomodation was amazing and we were made to feel very welcome by Nicolas who was charming and attentive throughout and he even invited us to the village firework display to celebrate Bastille day. The food was delicious, he's a great cook! We were also treated to a lovely bottle of champagne to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to visit again soon.

Lovely small and friendly accommodation. The owner, Nicholas, could not do enough for us. We had a 5 course evening meal which was delicious and great value and breakfast was great too. Amazing stay, we would definitely return.

Beautifully decorated, stylish & elegant hotel where you feel you are the most important guest in residence. Perfectly located for our trip, would absolutely recommend this property for a couples stay!

This guest house is under new ownership. The new owner Nicholas purchased the property 2 weeks before our arrival. The property was purchased with all the furniture in place and therefore retains its art deco image. Upon our arrival it became apparent that due to the change of ownership our booking should have been cancelled but due to an administrative error it was overlooked. However we were not turned away and Nicholas welcomed us very warmly and due to being the only guests we were allowed to choose any bedroom we desired. The hotel was warm and Nicholas offered to make us dinner which we declined and we ate locally at a brasserie in the village a short distance which served very good food. The guest house is a 1790 built chateau with 5 bedrooms which are all tastefully decorated. Nicolas offered us breakfast which we took at 7:30 at our request. The accommodation is warm and clean the host is very friendly and accommodating and it is located about 1 hour from Calais with secure and safe parking. All rooms are accessed via a spiral staircase which could prove problematic for people with mobility problems.

Really lovely place, did not get to see much of surrounding area as just a quick stop off. Wonderful hosts and top breakfast. The bed was so comfortable! Will definitely go back.

What a find! My husband and I were traveling through Northern France, and this was the highlight of our 10-day journey. Delightful hosts, beautiful house, beautiful grounds, our room was warm and our bed was comfortable. Richard and Vanessa met us at the door and welcomed us with a cocktail. They suggested the most wonderful place for dinner. Breakfast was just delicious. We cannot wait to have an excuse to stay here again.

This is an amazing place to stay, we absolutely love it and have been there 3 times now. We LOVE the rooms (only one left to try now!) and the food is out of this world. This is our favourite place away from home and plan to stay there at least once a year!
