City Park Apart Hotel

The hotel was in an awkward location only accessible by a bus or walking. Check in time was 2pm they were not flexible on this. I was made aware the times that the buffet breakfast was open, they unfortunately forgot to mention that this was not included in my room rate and was incredibly overpriced for what I received. I was only aware of the cost on checkout. The room requested was a queen, I received twins pushed together. Overall ok but due to the location and lack of communication on excessive costs I can't recommend the hotel.

Especially when it costs $10, the breakfast could be improved greatly. The location is excellent - central, quiet.

Short 2 night stay for an specific excursion to Chernobyl Site. Staff very welcoming and understanding listening carefully (In English) to individual requirements. Wanting to offer extra support for our visit with taxi advice also location of points of interest. Breakfast typical of local cuisine varied and well stocked.

I had booked a 3-bed room for myself and two children via Expedia, but upon arrival I was told this hotel doesn't have any such rooms, just 2-bed ones and that I'd have to pay for the extra bed needed. The room was, hence, way too small for 3 people and the extra bed had to be squeezed in. During our 2-day stay, on the first day cigarette fumes could be smelled in our room at least twice. As this hotel has a strict non.smoking policy, these likely came from a spot outside where guests went for smoking. Other than that, the hotel was nice, clean, modern and quite. Breakfast was a bit scarce in terms of food selection, but certainly sufficient. I all, I can recommend this hotel as a good place to stay in downtown Kiev.

The marvelous hotel made an excellent impression on me next time in Kiev I will choose "City Park Hotel again. The food was very good and excellent service from the Front desk and the kitchen.
