City Park Apart Hotel

The hotel offers good quality with decent price in Kiev terms. It is 10 mins walking distance from Golden Gate, from where the main Kiev attractions start. It is a small quiet hotel which I recommend to every business traveler. I only got a small problem with the wifi (it was not connecting all the time), but I'm not sure if the problem was not also in my comp.

compared to most of kiev this place is very very clean and modern and english speaking staff buffet is not great for 20 bucks

Rooms are much smaller than the pictures lead you to believe. There is no services at the hotel. They charge you extra for everything. For the price they are charging this is a rip off! I have stayed other places in Kiev and would never go back.

it was a good experience , this is a new hotel ,good installations ,very clean std breakfast close to points of interest , personnel willing to help .... excellent 3 *** hotel.... small rooms and neighborhood( couple of blocks before getting into main aveniues ) is not nice .

This was my first visit to Kiev, and the staff at City Park Hotel could not have been more welcoming and friendly. I would stay here again, and would recommend it to others based on the service, the cleanliness and comfort and sense of security. Breakfast was quite good. It was a bit of a walk to some of the places I wanted to visit, but not too bad. Really enjoyed my stay.

Within walking distance of the Golden Gates and St Sophia's and at a stretch St Andrew's and the walk down a pictureseque cobbled street with lots of stalls of Ukrainian goodies and brick-a-brac. Watch out for an authentic Ukrainian restaurant on your left about halfway down if you are hungry. Watch out for taxis ripping you off. The hotel staff were great for booking taxis and they would arrange one to take you to where you want to go. A simple call back to the hotel and they would arrange one to collect you when your legs had given up. Their prices would be almost half of what one would charge from a "rank" or flagged down in the street. Breakfasts were truely continental so do not expect an English fry up. What they had would probably appeal more to someone from northen Europe but there was plenty of it and quality was good. Avoid the the mini bar unless you are really desperate. You can get a better beer in a larger bottle from the bar at less than half the price to take to your room if you so wish. The only down side is that the hotel was not close to a metro station so transport options were limited but once you were near the center the network was available. The staff were friendly, very helpfull and all the receptionists spoke good English. All in all a good hotel deserving its four star status.

Firstly its not situated in a leafy park, although it does have some mature trees outside. My only gripe is the breakfast, a very poor selection of "off the shelf products" not worth getting out of bed for, you would be better off going up the street to a cafe.

All the staff was wonderful and helpful. I especially loved Igor, the doorman! Many thanks for a wonderful stay!
