The Motor Lodge

We usually stay at St. Michaels or Hassayampa Inn, but this time we thought we’d try the “retro” route with The Motor Lodge. It was a wonderful change of pace in that the Lodge is small, quiet and out of the busy area of downtown. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.

Very nice property with individual cabins. Walking distance to town so you can park and not drive again until you’re leaving.

This was a super cute property. We were so excited to stay here. Until we walked in our room and found 2 large spiders occupying the room (one in the shower and the other one right next to the toilet). The employee at check in killed one for us and I killed the other. But we were then freaked out all night we'd see more. The bed was too hard for our liking and the pillows were massive in size, which made it hard to sleep comfortably. We'd like to come back if the listed stuff was fixed.

We love The Motor Lodge! We stay here often and always enjoy our stay. The staff is accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean and very sweet. Depending if we bring our toddler or if it’s just a parent’s getaway there are a variety of rooms to choose from. Thank you!

Quaint and quiet 50s deco themed rooms. Had a covered carport next to our room. Bed was comfy. It was an easy walk to the square for 4th of July events. Also was provided a discount at The Edison next door for breakfast.

Such a cool vibe. Clean and spacious enough for me, hubby and dog. Safe and close walk to square.

could not park in front of our room and had to park on street. Other rooms had parking righti in front of their room and we had a more expensive room....

Really enjoyed this retro motel. Everything was perfect and room was clean. We had the king room and it was spacious with details that reflected the efforts to decorate it retro. Seeing the glass door knobs took me back to the house I grew up in. Really loved the electric fireplace in the room and the one on the patio outside of our room.Not having a parking place in front of our room was disapointing but not a big deal. Suspect we will be back.
