The Motor Lodge

I want to scream how awesome this place is from the rooftops, but I dont want it to get so booked up that it's not available when I come back. To start, the lady at the front desk was kind and quick, I truly felt welcomed. If retro, mid century modern is your jam, they have you covered. The small complex far from cookie cutter corporate hotels is tucked just off of Whiskey Row. Close enough to walk to the hustle and bustle, but far enough away for a peaceful night. The rooms are standard hotel size, and the pillows are the best my head's ever laid on. AC and ceiling fans keep the room from getting stuffy and the TV has plenty of channels to rot your brain. There aren't modern plug ins for all of our modern gadgets, but I made it work with the outlets they had. The bathroom in my unit was tiny, I'm a small person, and showering was awkward. But the room and amazing views from number 10 were impeccable with a beverage in the evenings. I want to come back in the fall or winter to make use of the fireplace. The tight area between buildings and other guest cars might make some nervous to park, and I wouldn't recommend a room with a carport for larger vehicles...that said there is plenty of street parking should you not want to drive into the complex. Don't let these minor things decract you. I've stayed at many places in Prescott, this is by far my favorite there is.

Cozy and quiet motel. Management personal friendly and helpful. Convenient to downtown. Lovely patios. Comfortable!

We had a nice relaxing getaway. We loved the outdoor seating and our room was clean with all we needed. Staff very nice. Walkable (or short drive) to great restaurants and shopping. Fun to stay somewhere different with its own vibe. Highly recommend!

Very cute lodge , decor is beautiful, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and whiskey row .

Our first time at the Lodge. The folks have done a fine renovation and continued maintenance to keep the property in excellent, cool & funky shape. Though we left earlier then planned, the professional manager treated us fairly and with a positive attitude. The number returning customers reflects the Lodge’s quality and coolness. Aloha!

This property located within steps of downtown historic Prescott is wonderful if you like an fifties drive-in motor lodge vibe, super cute, super clean, super comfortable, and super convenient. This particular unit even came with it’s own parking garage which is great if you are on an extended roadtrip and leave a lot of stuff in your car. If you like, they offer self-checkin and checkout which was very simple and convenient. The units each have their own small patio for lounging or dining. Decorated beautifully with comfortable bed and even an electric fireplace for heat or ambience, this is a must stay in Prescott. I certainly will be visiting again.
