The Millennium in Chengdu is truly amazing, for the foreign business traveler it's such a treat. Great food service with lots of options especially for breakfast. The rooms are top tier quality but very reasonably priced. The Millennium Hotels in China are in an upper tier from the Millennium Hotels in the US. The rooms are designed with great detail, with recess lighting that turn on and off depending on how you move at night. My only regret is that I couldn't spend more time in the hotel during my business trip. My favorite place to stay in Chengdu for sure.

We were in Chengdu during the annual wine exhibition and stayed in Millennium. Breakfast was OK but too many guests crowded in a small restaurant. Room was euipped with everything you need for business and pleasure. The bed was superb. The hotel staff We met were generally friendly and helpful. The Concierge helped us to move in and out our red wine samples. English is an issue.Not too many staff could speak fluent English.I hope It would be improved. The park and walking street are a plus to this hotel as you Can relax for a walk or something. Both Chinese and western restaurants were within easy walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel to people who like the serenity and comfort.

Very convenient, service was great! Rooms look good! Hotel looks modern and clean. Was my first trip to Chengdu to see my old friends. Next month I’ll need to go there again for work, I’ll definitely will book this hotel!

I spent a week at the Millennium Hotel in Chengdu and enjoyed my stay very much. It is very much what you would expect from a 4 star chain hotel. Excellent facilities, pleasant and helpful staff and a reasonably hassle free stay. As others have noted it is next to Starbacks and a short walk to the nearest subway station Shenxianshu on Line 7. There is a lovely park right opposite the hotel where you can see people exercising each day. Try to get a room overlooking this park. Although on a reasonably busy road, my room on the 10th floor was perfectly quiet. The staff speak English, although one of two staff did struggle to understand my accent at times. I ate in the restaurant for breakfast only once and there was a good mixture of Chinese and Western food, although with much more variety on local food as you would expect. If you have business in this part of Chengdu - which is some way from the city center - I would recommend this place.

Tea was overpriced for one pot of tea at 200 RMB. Invoice has a surprise 190 RMB. Service charge for drinking the tea. Neat trick. One price for the food. Another to invest it. This is the old Tea scam in a new form.

Once again great stay in this hotel, it's always good to come back to a place again and know that it keeps delivering. This time tried the room service and it was excellent. If you have any problems during your stay just turn to Ms. Fiona, she is always there to help and sort out things out! Thank you Millennium hotel team!

I say that this hotel is semi-high class hotel. Equipment is enough in the room. I haven’t experienced any inconvenience during stay. My pictures show the overall room and bathroom. Just one thing I’m embarrassed with is large see-through window between bathroom and the bedroom. Is there some meaning ? But I found the automatic shutter is installed in the see-through window. So, if you don’t like this window, please use this shutter. One thing I want to point out is that Starbucks coffee is next to this hotel. I like Starbucks's coffee very much, so I’m pleased when the Starbucks shop is close. During my stay, hotel staffs were very kind. When I visit to Chengdu the next time, I want to stay again at this hotel.

Fast C/I and great service. Didn't try the breakfast. GYM was good. What really puts this hotel above others is the service, especially the attention we got from Ms. Fiona. She went out of her way to help us with recommendations about restaurants and places to visit during our short stay. Would choose again!

The room was comfortable and clean. The area had some good food but not easy to get to other parts of the city without a taxi. They nickle and dimed us for the snacks that were put on the coffee table. Other hotels executive suites I've stayed in had free minibars so I was surprised to get charged for potato chips and peanuts. Other than that disappointment our bathtub's drain was broken. The water wouldn't drain out. They fixed it promptly the next day but we didn't want to try our luck again. The executive lounge was alright. Some of breakfast items it was hard to tell how long they'd been on display. In the evening they had a decent assortment of liquor and good snacks.
