Hampton Inn & Suites Wilkes-Barre

The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was courteous. The complimentary breakfast was delicious.

The toilet in my room 419 was waaaaay to short. The toilet needs to be at least average height. It made using the bathroom very uncomfortable.

Excellent! We stayed at this Wilkes Barre/ Scranton Hampton Inn with our dog, twice this year on our way to and from Florida. Once in January and once end of March. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our microwave wasn’t working and the staff brought one up right away to replace it. The room and bathroom was very clean. The bed and bedding were upscale .. we had a great comfortable and cozy night’s sleep. The breakfast had many choices, from fresh fruit to eggs and sausage, waffle maker, oatmeal, and more. Our first stay the room was conveniently located near an exit door, making it easy to get the pup outside to do her business especially during the January cold and snow. Even during the second stay, when we were on the second floor.. it was easy access down the elevator and out the back door where there is an area for doggies to do their business, complete with doggie do-do bags and a trash can. Parking is also conveniently located with in the front or back of the Inn. Definitely highly recommend this lodging choice, especially with a dog. (P.S. across the street is a great little spot to eat called “Lews”. They have a deck which allows dogs! We enjoyed a delicious light meal with a pitcher of beer)

Everything was very clean. Staff was personable and breakfast had lots of options.

Not a fan of getting multiple text messages to see how everything was. Literally had 48 hours not on call for the next 14 weeks and I just wanted left alone. Also the dumpster being emptied at 4:30 am was ridiculous. Bed was a bit hard for my husband's liking.

Very clean, great staff
