Hampton Inn & Suites Wilkes-Barre

Very clean and updated

We stayed one night at the Wilkes-Barre Hampton Inn with our son’s college volleyball team. Not only were the rooms clean, very nice and quiet, but the service was beyond exceptional. Mark at the front desk could not have done any more for us! He was very speedy at check-in and had all the mens’ rooms ready, with their key cards when they walked in exhausted from a match. Took less than 3 minutes to get them in about 10 rooms. Mark did say other members of the staff did all the prep. When it was time to feed all these men, Mark could not have been more accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. It’s important that I write this and say thank you, thank you, thank you! Last year we stayed at another hotel in Wilkes-Barre that was far less accommodating and, frankly, down right difficult. Mark and team, thank you!!!

Food

Very nice. Clean. Employees very nice

While in our third floor room, we could hear Car doors slamming, beeps from locking/unlocking cars, etc. most likely other guests. Unfortunately this went on most of the night. It was not any fault of the hotel/staff to my knowledge.

Well kept and an inviting atmosphere. Employees always willing to help in any way they can.
