Riverview Cambodia Boutique Hotel

Had a great stay. Only in PP for one night. Our stay was relaxing.

We booked into this hotel after looking up numerous reviews about accommodation in Phnom Penh. The rate was fairly expensive and whilst the room and hotel were very Nice and definitely boutique style there was no real warmth or welcome about the Hotel which was the overall vibe we got from Phnom Penh in general. The quality of sleep was poor as there was a thumping sort of noise which continued on An intermittent basis throughout the night which staff told me the next morning was due To the water system in the upstairs rooms. Breakfast was included in our room rate but was available from the restaurant 2 doors down from the hotel. The selection was very basic and my toast was in fact a panini toasted and served with butter and spread on the side. Whilst the location was close to the riverfront and the rooms spacious and nicely furnished I would not bother staying here again probably wouldn't recommend it to others.

A great gem for the price.

This hotel is literally a few steps away from where the Ibis bus stops coming from Siem Reap. The interior is nice, very modern. The room we got smells of cigarette, though. But the service made up for it.

Hotel is right opposite the night market. Amenities were acceptable for a 2-3 star hotel, also clean. But our room had no view. the nearby restaurant, Fish, where morning breakfast is served, could do with some general cleaning as facilities were a bit dusty and smells lingered.

Rooms were lovely. Clean, modern and bright. If you want quiet o would recommend getting the rooms without balcony. The rooms facing the street were a little noisy. The rooms at the back were much quieter. Perfect location! A great choice for a busy city!

All you need for two nights, big and clean rooms. Note that breakfast is in a restaurant just 20m away but of good quality (set meals, no buffet). Design of rooms is nice but shower/bathtub not very functional, whole floor gets wet when showering.

This place can be hard to find so have the hotel arrange a taxi pick up from the airport. You can call them or send an email. The staff are able communicate well in English and can assist you in anything you need. For instance, I wanted to visit S-21 prison and the killing fields. The hotel made arrangements to hire me a tuk-tuk driver whom understood and spoke english. They put me into #5 with a kingsize bed, the room was big, lots of space to move about. The bathroom was also spacious. I also recommend dining at the adjacent restaurant (Fish) that provides the hotel their room service. Check out their website and menu, you won't be disapointed by their food, service and drinks. By the way the employees at Fish are able to speak and understand English as well. To make this long story short, next time I'm in town I will definately stay at the hotel again and again after that.

The decor and rooms are lovely. I dont know what the river view rooms are like as we did not opt for one but the two rooms we stayed in both had windows, yes but blocked out so you could not see anything. during our stay there was some construction going on in a neighbouring building which goes on all trough the night, when complained, the front desk staff were very nice we were moved to a different room... we could still hear the banging but a lot less. We had a late flight and the hotel staff did their best to let us have the room way past check out time. The biggest let down for this standard of hotel is the breakfast, which is served in a local cafe a couple of doors down, just felt like several steps down from the hotel standard. If i did not include the breakfast into the rating I would have given a 5
