The Safed Inn

Not actually in the city of Safed, but several miles outside in the hills. A very rustic location. The owners of this bed-and-breakfast went out of their way to help us, provide us with information, fix any little thing that needed work, breakfast was made up of homemade jams, breads, and the owners even make cheeses. They have an excellent source of contacts in the immediate community. Somehow locked my iPhone. And could not get it to unlock with any code or fingerprint. They knew who to send us to. Who did it in a matter of minutes. They also know the approximate amount for local taxis. I knew exactly when we were getting taken by a taxi driver.

The property was wonderful! It was charming and rustic. The owners are lovely and very helpful. I highly recommend it!!

An oasis of calm and tranquility in a sometimes chaotic land. Clean, well maintained, and owners who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. A must do is the Israeli breakfast, lovingly prepared by Rikki. And all this for under $30 US a night. Literally, the best deal in Israel.

Loved Riki, her helpfulness and time spent visiting with us. Only thing we'd suggest is adding a blow dryer to the rooms.

This was my second stay with Riki and Dov at the Safed Inn. They are warm and welcoming, happy to suggest everything for walks, to restaurants, to things to do. The Inn is on top of a mountain, so in the summer it is wonderfully cool in the evening, and views are amazing! I cannot recommend this place enough, and I already have my next stay booked with them!

There are not enough positive adjectives to describe the place and overall experience of staying at the Safed Inn. The gracious owners don't miss a beat - from a delicious breakfast (including homemade jams and eggs to order), directions on where to go/how to get around, to the lovely conversation over a chilled glass of wine and laundry facilities - it was a perfect visit and a highlight of my travels.
