We stayed at the Apple Tree for a full ten days leading up to our wedding in Stellenbosch. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Nolene (the owner) was super friendly and inviting. For us, it was the perfect start and lead up to our special day. Breakfast was amazing even for vegetarians. Our room was clean, right by the pool, the atmosphere was always chilled out and relaxed which is exactly what we needed. The wireless signal wasn't great unless you were inside and even then it was a bit slow but overall good enough for checking emails etc. Very close to Stellenbosch central (Dorp street etc) where there are a number of fantastic restaurants and shops. Overall just perfect for us, thank you Apple Tree for a fantastic stay.
Our room & bathroom (bath& shower) were very clean & well maintained although we could have done with more electric sockets to plug our chargers into.mwifi was not good in the room but excellent in the lounge area. Breakfast was varied with daily specials served by two lovely ladies. The Appletree is in a safe area with security guards patrolling during the evening & night. There is plentiful secure parking at the property. We did not use the swimming pool but it looked very inviting.
Rooms are well appointed and breakfast is abundant. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Apple tree guest house has by far been the most amazing place for a getaway..location is so great because you so close to everything u need..the staff is amazing its money very well spent..im definitly goin back again myself and my partner loved been there..ROBYN /CAVIN

As far as Guest Houses are concerned this must be as good as it gets. We have no negative comments at all Noeline was the perfect host. This is an ideal place to tour the region from and it is only 30 minutes from Cape Town Airport and 20 minutes from Franschhoek. We would return if visiting the area again.
Lovely expereience, made to feel welcome and at home. Both Noeline and Michale are gracious hosts. Excellent breakfast. Only downside was having our room next to the front desk. We didn't have a vehicle and walked to the campus - about 15 minutes for us and we did it duirng the day and at night. While we were okay and generally felt safe, this hotel is probably better if one has a vehicle. It is not as convenient as places closer to campus. Overall though we have no hesitation in recommeding Apple Tree Guest House.
This is a charming, petite hotel with petite rooms and swimming pool. The rooms are designed well for short stays. The breakfast is nice and the owner/manager engaging and very helpful. It is a 15 min walk to the university, shops and restaurants but the neighbor is nice and quiet. An overall excellent value.
