Was great little guest house. stayed one night and have no negatives to speak of. Manager really helped me alot with certain bookings and requests.
We had a wonderful time staying at The Apppletree Guesthouse where nothing was too much trouble. Michael and his mum were great hosts and made us feel right at home. Everytime we asked a question or sought advice the answer was always forthcoming, after diligent research. Every recommendation that was made was wonderful. It made our stay personal and much more interesting. Even restaurant bookings were arranged for us. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Even the tea and coffee appeared without us asking, just the way we liked it. And to top it all off even our car was washed.
Nice little guest house, with lovely pool. Decent room, and secure parking. The B&B was a little further out from the town centre than we had realised - about a 15 min walk and not brilliantly lit, which was slightly disconcerting although we did not experience any hassle with the "locals". The service was friendly enough; would recommend Apple Tree Guesthouse to others - although to be honest Franshoek. Robertson and Montagu are nicer places than Stellenbosch to base your stay in the Winelands from

The guesthouse was all in all fantastic and I would definitely stay there again. Service was great, rooms really nice and clean, breakfast good and the price really affordable. Even though the pool is quite small, it's a treat to drink a glass of wine from a nearby winery and watch the day end by the pool. It's a bit far away from the city center (1 km), but it doesn't really matter cause you anyways have to drive everywhere. Lovely place! I recommend.
The most outstanding aspect of the Guest House was the helpfulness of the owner. She gave us wonderful tips about touring and restaurants in and around Stellenbosch. The rooms are small but adequate and there is a small pool available for guests. It is also very convenient to main roads, which makes it easy to explore the surrounding area.

Apple Tree is a lovely place to stay. Our room was beautiful and we enjoyed our time there. Employees are very helpful and accommodating. Free breakfast is wonderful!
Delicious staff (that has helped us in a difficult conditions with the rental car) delicious breakfast to start well the morning, and a big bath with hydromassage to enjoy drinking one glass of the good wine found in the fridge at a onest price! what else we need? i sure recommend this B&B that is near to the centre and the restaurants! good work Apple tree!!
The owner and staff at this guest house were very firendly and helpful to us. Very well maintained and excellent food for breakfast.
