Edinburgh Playhouse Apartments

This apartment was perfect for our 3 night stay in Edinburgh. The walk to waverly station area was about 20minutes of brisk walking. But not bad. Seemed to be very safe. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was perfect for some snacks and breakfast each day. We were very pleased with everything. The only thing given that it’s an air bnb- no where to store luggage if not leaving early. We stored at the bus station since it was cheaper than waverly station. 10am check out is a bit early. 11 or 12 would have been more sufficient. Only two large towels are provided to you in this apartment. There were three of us- so we had to share towels. We did ask for more- but reception was closed on the weekend- said we would get some Monday- but housekeeping never brought any. So request more before you arrive! In all- we would stay again.

A bit of a walk from Leith St but queit and spacious, well stocked and all the amenities.

Great apartment, clean & very spacious in a great location with parking. Definitely stay again

Apartment was lovely and clean very spacious and a great location for the city centre ..only a short walk from bua stop. However it was in need of some tlc. There were somw obvious botched job repairs been carried out and some such as the hole in the bathroom flooring which had clearly been like that for a while hadnt even had a repair attempted. However didnt really impact our stay ..would stay again its just a bit if a shame as otherwise a lovely place to stay.

Wonderful apartment! Clean and great location with parking! About 20 min walk from the royal mile(or a £7 Uber ride). Try the black fox bar near the apartment for a delicious burger.

Clean comfortable handy for city centre. Very close to Edinburgh Playhouse. Lovely shower and comfy bed. Parking permit was out of date and TV sound distorted.

Arrived at the apartment and was pleasantly surprised how spacious it was. All the beds were made up, there were two large bedrooms one with en suite, a second family bathroom. A large dining kitchen that had complimentary tea and coffee and a lounge with tv and 2nd dining table. The apartment was clean and can say that we were very satisfied with the accommodation. The apartment is very close to the centre but far enough not to be noisy so I’d say it was perfect. We had a 20 minute stroll which we enjoyed as Edinburgh is a great City to explore that got us right into the centre. Anyone staying please take note of the parking info that you get on arrival ensuring that you park at the back of the apartments and not the front or you’ll get a ticket. The only slight negative that I would say (and I’m being picky) is the windows and patio doors would benefit from having voils fitted as we were on the ground floor and when then curtains were open you could see in. Other than that very happy!

Property was well placed in relation to the city, clean and well equipped. Large two bedroom apartment was more than adequate, parking was also available

The apartment was fantastic - really large and comfortable with many great features that made it feel like home from home. It was great once we actually found it. The check in is all self service and instructions are sent to pick up the keys from a key box. But be aware that the apartment and parking is not right next to the key boxes. There were some very confusing instructions and a poor quality map that needs to be redone. We arrived at about 10pm after a long journey and the last thing we needed was a mystery map and treasure hunt to to try and find the apartment and how to get to the car park. But once we arrived we were pleased and had a good stay.
