H10 Mediterranean Village

We have been staying here for 11 days. Was very apprehensive in the beginning as lots of kids and us being an older couple was a bit daunted. But we have had a wonderful time. Beautifully quiet room as we requested great air con and lovely comfy beds. Food is fabulous so much choice and happy staff all the time. A young black lad name Lamin or Aimin working behind the grill even though it’s so hot he was so happy and polite nothing to much trouble !! I noticed lots of chatting in the bar agreed what a lovely young man he is. On our last night he was working with a young guy who was not making his job easy continuously on his case . I do hope he stays he is so happy and works so hard.’ The hotel is wonderful and I have stayed at many H10 hotels and this hotel does not disappoint. The location is fantastic beautiful beach’s on your doorstep and a bus stop at the foot of the hotel going all around the island. Obviously the hotel is about family and children and that is perfect here as children are so well catered for. Oh and the bar staff are absolutely lovely again nothing to much trouble. We will definitely be returning with our children and grandchildren. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Bev Neal

Kids had fun at the pools. Staff was friendly at check in.

Food was not good. Poor quality and no strict guidelines for people. We asked to cancel our half board after two days and they said they couldn’t. So, we paid for food we couldn’t eat. There was an “entertainment” staff but it was very low quality. No real kids club but just a room with toys parents can stay with their kids in.

My family has recently returned home after an unexpected extended stay at this hotel. What was meant to be a one-week holiday turned into a 12-day stay when our 22-month-old daughter was admitted to hospital on the Monday before we were due to fly home. The main reason I wanted to leave this review is to recognise the exceptional service provided by the reception team during what was an incredibly stressful time for our family. When our daughter became unwell, reception quickly arranged for a doctor to visit our apartment, which was greatly appreciated. The team then went above and beyond by extending our stay and ensuring that we could remain in the same apartment for the additional five nights. This made a huge difference to us, especially as we were travelling with our 3-year-old son, who loved the hotel. Being able to keep him in familiar surroundings helped maintain a sense of normality and comfort during a very difficult situation. Throughout our extended stay, the reception staff regularly checked in on us and asked how our daughter was doing. Their kindness, compassion, and genuine concern made an enormous difference and helped us feel much more relaxed than we otherwise would have during such a challenging time. I would especially like to thank Ruth at reception (I hope I have her name spelled correctly). She was absolutely fantastic and did everything she could to support our family. Her kindness and professionalism will not be forgotten. I will always be grateful for the way the hotel and its staff looked after us. We sincerely hope to return one day under happier circumstances. In the meantime, I will be highly recommending this hotel to any families planning a visit to Salou. Thank you again for your outstanding hospitality and support.

The property itself was lovely ! Location was perfect Staff was friendly BUT the kids club is not worth the money

Right you can smoke next to the children’s pools below our balcony and pretty much inside the bar BUT NOT ON OUR BALCONYS ! So we could sit and smoke next to children yet not on our balcony in private ! Absolutely mad !!! Backwards rules ! Food was cold ! Every meal no matter what time we turned up the food was cold !

The size of the hotel was good, not too big. Very clean & modern looking. Selection of food was good & even with allergies (dairy & gluten) we managed to eat well. Chefs were very helpful.

Beds were quite hard. Floors around the pool were quite slippery!

La animación para niños y mayores, gracias chicos sois increíbles! Las instalaciones con espacios muy amplios en recepción, comedor, habitaciones... La limpieza, el personal, el buffet...

Pues la única pega que puedo poner es sobre la comida que se hace a la plancha en el buffet, que la cocinan demasiado y se queda seca (pescado y carne). Lo mismo sucede con los filetes de la zona infantil, si ya a los niños se les suele hacer 'bola' el lomo de un día y las pechugas de otro estaban secas no, lo siguiente. Creo que es algo fácil de solucionar, se hace al punto y si alguien lo quiere más hecho tiene remedio!
