Todo bien, lo unico para comer algo muy mediocre

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Personnel sympathique. Chambre spacieuse. Bon matelas. Petit déjeuner buffet correct. Très peu de choix pour le dîner (produits congelés) Arrêt de bus pour Bilbao à quelques mètres de l'hôtel.

Poco transporte público, el hotel en sí es cómodo, el personal amable y la zona tranquila.

Second stay at Urban Hotel Loiu, hospitality and warmth guaranteed. Less than a 10 min drive from airport this hotel provides a very good service. Breakfast is ok ,parking lot,good bar. And they will leave a good bottle of Spanish wine as welcome greet. I will keep coming back

Booked here because I needed an overnight stay near Bilbao airport. I was pleasantly surprised because it certainly was not an average airport hotel. It has plenty local character. I had an excellent late night snack in the bar, where I joined a crowd of locals watching FC Barcelona on the TV. Breakfast was also good, and my stay was reasonably priced. I had worked out that the hotel was within walking distance of the airport, and although I knew I would have to take a taxi on arrival, I planned to walk in the morning. However, "walking distance" would have been as the crow flies and there is no direct route. Reception staff were clearly taken aback that I could have thought this possible; but were happy to organise a taxi for me. The return taxi cost was about 30 euros.

This hotel hosts the only cafeteria in the village. Kind staff, clean room, one bus to Bilbao every hour (2hrs on weekend). Taxi to Bilbao is around €15. Planes fly overhead, though not during the night. Reasonable rate.
