Awal Hotel

I didn't stay due to no availability of room as booked to me by your website. It was a mistake that I won't do again ever!

very enjoyable trip

Its a decent hotel, 1st of all the hotel is in a cramped area a very tight street with very limited, to no parking. I walked in the lobby the front desk associate was very helpful and friendly he was like this my entire 10 day stay. He is the MAIN bright spot of this hotel and because of his outstanding service and help would be the reason I would come back to this hotel for another stay. Any time I needed to change USD into Dinar he helped, any time I needed a taxi he called and set up a flat rate so the drivers did not try and jip me. Always smiled, always asked about my day out on town or did I need my room cleaned. VERY friendly and courtesy. I asked for a single bed an got a double I didn't complain I can live with it, the room comes with a tv mini fridge desk table you know all of the basics. Also has a walk out deck or area to look out onto the city, only problem its the city and its dirty and you can see ppl hanging clothes on there roof.. The Bathroom was the negative, Its very cramped the tub is small and sits up high, they only give you one towel to dry off with no wash cloth, small roll of toilet paper that you go through in about 2-3 days max. Air condition blows excellent honestly you can turn it up if u want its controlled by remote. The tv has 3 American channels that basically just play movies 24/7. All in all I say you get what you pay for and I would stay again at this hotel. It is probably a 2 and half to 3 star hotel

Really not good. Hotel located in a very crowded area washard to locate iy. There was no breakfast at all even they mentioned buffet breakfast!! Peopele such gurds a d some of reception. Hs 5 floors yet 1 elevayor!!!

Wifi good, location good, friendly reception and staff

The location of the hotel is in an alley surrounded by other hotels, most of which are cheap nightclubs rather than hotels Hotel Awal does not have a nightclub or bar,thus making the stay a bit pleasant this is not a hotel for a family or for a long stay but for the price it serves the purpose Wifi is not great inthe rooms

Very friendly hotel right in the center of Manama, just a minute's walk away from Bab al Bahrain (includes taxi stand) and the Suq. Simple room which comforts any basic needs. Very clean! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend the hotel for anyone who does not need a 5*-accommodation.

THE AIR CONDITION IS NOT ACCEPTABLE THE TV IS SMALL SIZE NOT CLEAR AND NOISY.

If you are looking for value for money, come to this hotel. It's not 5 star, but it has everything you need and the staff are extremely helpful. You definitely get more than what you pay for.

I stayed in Hotel Awal six days and had a very fine experience. Location is in the centrum of Manama, next to both the souq and the financial harbour. I had no noise or disturbances from my room at 6th floor, neither from the street or other rooms. To the price, this place is a good bargain. Even with a - very small - balcony.
