Lovely hosts and beautiful rooms
Only complaint was the pillows were way too thick - used a towel instead! And the twin beds were quite narrow (2' 6"). But the mattress was comfortable, etc. Everything else was great - nice room, warm, good breakfast, etc. I would stay here again, but I'd take my own pillow!
I booked the room through Expedia, on my way to the hotel I called the management to confirm whether my room was ready and also to enquire about parking arrangements. When I got through to someone at the hotel I was told that they could not confirm whether my room was ready because there was no staff on site to verify where 1. My room was ready & 2. Whether they had a room at all! Eventually the manager/owner called me to say that they had no staff onsite that's why it's taking so long to confirm whether there was a room available for me. I told the manager/owner that this is quite unprofessional and I'm really disappointed about the whole thing. tHe manager/owner was quite rude saying that this is just a cheap hotel and I shouldn't be making a fuss about it, He said that I should not bother coming to the hotel any more because I told him the hotel was not professionally run. He said I should find accommodation elsewhere as he won't be accepting me at the hotel despite the fact that I had already reserved the room through Expedia . I told him that Expedia had mentioned in the booking T&C that no refund for cancellation and no changes allowed. It was a nightmare!!!

It was a lovely comfortable stay. Hospitable staff, very helpful and accmmodating. The entrance to the hotel is quite tatty but not to be put off.
