Amazing hotel to stay

We are long time Marriott time share owners and loyal Marriott hotel customers. This facility was a big disappointment. The first night we arrived, we had frayed sheets with stains on our mattress that did not quite fit on our king bed. They also looked dingy and not clean, so I called the front desk asking for new sheets, which we did not get until the next day. The bed and pillows were cheap and not comfortable. There is not much on the property. A very small pool type restaurant with bar type food. A small market that closes at 7:00 pm and has very limited items. The unit was quiet and we were glad we had a fridge so we could buy some groceries. The area around this resort is also NOT nice. There is no place to walk or dine. We had to drive to get to anything. We would never go back.

We love the property the first time we came. This time we were given wrong room while the room we requested stayed unoccupied but was told it was occupied. Waited 5 hours for a pack in play only to find a urinate filled baby sheet in it. Pool towels took 2 days to be refilled. Bed in room was not as comfortable as the bed in the room we requested.

The property was well located on the beach. There was only one restaurant on property, with average food. The furniture in the room, including the beds, couch and chairs, was the most uncomfortable we have ever encountered. So much so that we dreaded being in the room during bad weather, which unfortunately we experienced a fair amount of.

10th time here. Love it

First time here as a vacation club owner and having a mixed experience. The hotel is nice and renovated, but they definitely went cheap with the renovations. Our suite was supposedly just completed but they definitely didn’t review the work thoroughly as it looks like a rookie completed most of it. However, the service is where things really stood out. It’s not good! Outside of the waiter at the pool bar, we didn’t come across a single staff member that cared about the guest experience or satisfaction. From the moment I checked in, there was a general lack of customer service or concern for the guests. It got worse when all we needed were extra towels and it took 3 hours and 4 calls to finally get them. It’s clear there is a culture issue that most likely starts with management that doesn’t care and is passed down to the staff. It’s unfortunate.
