Room wasnt ready at check in and had to wait - a bit dirtier than expected. Was way overpriced (although if i had booked on the day not 6 month early price was almost half) overall a bit smelly

Parking was an issue. No spots available.

Great location, friendly staff, great clean room and serviced daily.

Strong cooking smell in room at all times - as if the fan from a kitchen nearby was being pushed directly into my room. Very strong smell - hard to sleep with this and my work clothes smelled like this when i arrived at work. My room had a large gap in the window that unfortunately couldn't be closed any more or shut. Meaning I could hear very loud wind blowing all night, feel the cold draught coming through the window while trying to sleep. Also the fan in the bathroom was permanently running - and very old and loud. Not sure why I couldn't switch it on/off at the wall like most hotels. It was hard to sleep with this loud fan going all night close to the bed, even with the bathroom door closed. Next time I'll bring ear plugs. Great location though.

I arrived within the period that indicated i would when making the booking. The front office was unattended and no key was left out, or email correspondence as to what to do on arrival. I tried all available phone numbers with no response. I waited over 30 mins before someone showed up to give me a key.

The location is good and right in the city centre. The place reminded me a bit of a hostel-style setup, with a communal kitchen the town itself is beautiful — Queen’s Park was lovely, and there are plenty of things to see and do in the area.

There is parking available within the hotel, but for some reason we weren’t allowed to use it and were instead directed to park on the street or use overnight parking at the mall. This was inconvenient, especially when you want to sleep in, as we had to set an alarm just to manage parking.
