Impero Hotel Varese

De toegewezen familie kamer vertoonde enkele problemen met hang en sluitwerk van deuren en ramen. Teleurstellender was het ontbreken van airco waarvoor in de plaats een gammele staande ventilator waarvan de bedieningsknopjes ook nog eens ontbraken! Restaurant en ontbijt prima.

I liked everything about this hotel except there was no air conditioning. A fan was provided but the temperature was about 30 degrees and this wasn't enough. However another fan was offered. The restaurant was really good. You could eat inside or outside and the food was very reasonably priced. The breakfast was also good. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke English. There is also a spa at the hotel. There is also a supermarket across the road from the hotel. As we had a car the location was perfect for travelling to the Italian lakes - only 30 minutes away. I would definitely stay in this hotel again but at a cooler time of the year than June/July. Can't fault the service and the food and the friendliness of all the staff.

Buon Hotel, ottima posizione per chi viaggia, pulito e con un buon servizio. C'è anche la SPA, che però non ho provato, e un buon ristorante. Unica pecca non da poco il letto, il materasso con la rete era un modello vecchio e scomodo, la mia schiena delicata ne ha decisamente risentito.

Il ristorante caro come il fuoco per niente di speciale anzi! Mi si spieghi xe X avere un primo qualunque (dalla pasta ai gnocchi) bisogna essere minimo in due a scegliere lo stesso piatto?!?! La colazione a buffe tutta roba precotta, tristissimo il cestone gigante pieno di ghiaccio con dentro le bottiglie da 2 litri di succo comprato al discount! Sicuramente più elegante una brocca... La camera è dotata di tendoni pesanti alle finestre che impediscono il passaggio della luce, e non si possono neppure aprire perché fuori c'è una bella casetta che guarda proprio nella camera! Camera poco illuminata e con un balcone unico che collega tutte le camere limitando ancor più la privacy... In sintesi un hotel da 40 euro a notte regalati e giusto perché è sul confine... 80 sono stati troppi!

Mooie grote kamer. Restaurant niet erg gezellig, maar wel livemuziek (zaterdagavond). Top bediening!

Camera sprovvista di clima (un ventilatore...), chiedo delucidazioni in merito dal momento che sul sito Hotels viene data la climatizzazione inclusa, mi rispondono che tutte le camere sono sprovviste di clima e che si tratta di un errore del sito di prenotazione... La spa annessa è a pagamento (il che non e specificato su Hotels - altre strutture site nella stessa provincia danno l'accesso gratuito e a tariffe simili e con livello di qualita nettamente superiore). Personale alla reception e di sala gentile, tuttavia gli arredamenti e l'ambiente in generale restano piuttosto superati. Nel complesso non è una struttura da prendere in considerazione per necessità future essendo il rapporto qualita/prezzo non in linea rispetto ad altre strutture nelle vicinanze che si collocano nello stesso range tariffario.

wir benützen dieses Hotel, weil es auf unserer Reise von der Côte d'Azur nach Zürich günstig vor der Grenze zum Tessin liegt und natürlich viel billiger ist als jedes schweizer Hotel. Ausserdem verfügt es über ein exzellentes Restaurant mit bester Bedienung

All'arrivo non abbiamo trovato nessuno alla reception. Poi però tutto è andato bene. Rinnovato come struttura, molto pulito e personale gentile. Garage a disposizione ma non spazioso.

Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt am Haus, netter Empfang, top-sauberes geräumiges Zimmer mit SAT-TV und kleinem Kühlschrank, Aufzug nach oben und ein offensichtlich bei den Einheimischen *zu Recht* sehr beliebtes Restaurant mit Forno a legno - Holzofen - direkt im Hause: da bleibt doch kein Wunsch offen. Trotz Lage an der Straße ruhig gelegen, super Betten. Wir hatten eine Terrasse (1. Etage). Beim Frühstück immerhin Prosciutto cotto (Kochschinken) und Käse neben den obligatorischen Kuchen und süßeren Frühstückskomponenten, dazu Wasser und Säfte. Echter italienischer Kaffee aus einer großen Siebträgermaschine soviel man möchte - und das war klasse!
