"Nice B&B 15-20 minutes walking from center"

Friendly stuff, a bit noisy room overlooking the Scotland road, but there are only 2 rooms like this and they are about to enforce windows soon.

"Exceptional"

A great little hotel, good location, bus stop very close and only a short ride to the station/city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. Would recommend.

Restaurant only does breakfasts, no secure parking unless you pay at petrol station next door. Tap in bathroom only ran warm. Hotel acceptable but not great, bit untidy at the edges, but served its purpose for one night. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good.

"Throstles Nest Hotel - not recommended"

Very old building that looks run down from the outside. Parking at local petrol station - not ideal. Room was clean and it is reasonably close to the city centre and Everton Park. Overall I wouldn't go back.

"Good location for football stadiums"

The hotel was situated exactly between the centre and Anfield, so perfect location for matches etc. The surrounding area wasn't great, but was easy to get into the centre. I wasn't particularly impressed with hotel its self, but the staff and breakfast were brilliant!
