The Lionstone Inn Motel and Cottages

This is a budget motel. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but the facility could use a major renovation. The price was right for a one night stay. Be aware, there are no frills. There was only one cup for the coffee maker in the room.

Good room rate. Dated motel that needs upgrades.

Comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Nice furniture.Outside in disrepair. Close to downtown Pictou and Ferry to PEI

Not sure how they received any stars. Met many other guests and all were very disappointed/disgusted. Tub would not drain it was so plugged, which had me question even they even wash the stained sheets.

Rust, mold, and general filth.....had to throw my white socks out.

Overall we were very happy with our short stay, with 1 exception - there is no air conditioning (a/c), so the room was very warm to sleep.

The price was good but reflected in the overall condition of the room. There was a stale cigarrette smell, and the room was only moderately clean. There was trash and cigarette butts on the ground at the entrance.
