Garni Hotel Konak

Great service. Its easy to see why its popular. Breakfast disappointing.

Stayed at the hotel for a night, everything was good with staff making the difference as they are really friendly and helpful. Rooms are in decent condition, some small issues could be worked out (somewhat worn out curtains for example) but nothing that would ruin the stay in any way.

Hotel day staff speaks English and is extremely helpful (Night staff tries to help but can't speak English.) Taxi driver had no idea where the hotel was. He left me off and made me find it myself. Make sure you have written down the exact address. Call ahead. There are only 8 rooms so they might be full.

This hotel is clean and comfortable, and it is located in the old town and close to tourist attractions. The staff is extremely helpful and offers free pickup from the airport, which is great. The rooms do suffer from tram noise, but that is true throughout old town - so if you want to be near the Bascarsija, this is your place!

I stayed here with a friend for two nights at the start of our holiday and another night at the end. Small modern hotel on a main street with a back entrance that led straight into the heart of the old town. Very clean comfortable rooms and well looked after. Generous breakfast buffet more than adequate for a small hotel unless you want a lot of cooked food. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who seem keen to help guests make the most of their visit. We learnt a lot from asking questions and began to understand more about the recent Balkan war and its effect on Sarajevo. Also went on a 'war tour' arranged by the hotel which was worthwhile. We stayed in the front top attic room for the first two nights and a room below for the last night. Trams run on the main road below and although aware of them for the first night , as we arrived late, after that we took little notice. The free pick up from the airport was very helpful as we arrived late and it was raining heavily.

If u want to be close to the Vatican then this is the right choice, however dont expect the comfort from a hotel. Food is inadequate just bread, juice and coffee which is limited just for 1 person. Everything is walking distance and it is not neccessary to stay close to the Vatican.

Very nice hotel on the edge of the old town. Extremely helpful and friendly staff and lovely rooms. The price was quite satisfactory.

For a great price, we had a comfortable, secure room in the old town. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were extremely friendly. No complaints! WIFI was strong. They offer a few free parking spots if you arrive early but otherwise just choose any garage in the area for about 10 Euro/day.

Hotel Konak is small, but very welcoming. Our room was clean, perfectly sized, and equipped with adequate air conditioning. The staff is delightful, helpful, and immensely knowledgable. Tea, coffee, and snacks are available all day, which is great if you're coming in and out and need a nice place to take a refreshment. This place is a gem!
