Alenti Sitges Hotel

The hotel itself was nice. We didn’t get the room shown in the pictures on Expedia. The room and the bedding had a smell

Great design, modern, minimalist, and central to the gay district.

This hotel has recently re-opened after a major refurbishment which has been done to a high standard . A mostly positive experience with a few tweeks needed to improve it even more. Positives : Prime location right near all local bars and restaurants and the beach . Well soundproofed . Rooms and amenities of a high standard. Well appointed with bath and shower, robes and slippers, good quality towels and bed linen , quality toiletries and coffee machine. Housekeeping of a high standard. At first glance breakfast looked a little sparse but actually everything you needed for a full continental breakfast with hot options available . Excellent roof terrace with comfortable chairs and sun loungers but with a very small pool that could probably be only classed as a plunge pool . Honesty bar up there for beers and soft drinks. Negatives: No terraces or balconies other than rooms with hot tubs . However , we did discover belatedly that the floor to ceiling " window " in the room could be slid back and you could sit in the chair in your room in the sun. Some health and safety shortcomings such as absence of fire instructions but particularly lack of grab rails in bath and shower . Porcelain extremely slippy and almost impossible to get a purchase on sides of bath to get out . Great difficulty in running bath due to fixed bath screen . Had to stand in bath to put plug in . Appreciate we are an older couple but not an age thing more a safety issue. Mini bar in room with water and soft drinks , which, in the absence of a price list , we thought were free . Big mistake. Only realised when we came to settle bill and discovered small bottle of water 2.50 euros . Never been charged for water in previous hotels in Sitges. Price list needed in room . Also, with regard to drinks no cava at breakfast which at this price point I would expect as again this has always been available elsewhere . No coffee served at bar after 4pm even for residents. Nowhere to store suitcases at check out although the guy on Reception allowed us to leave them with him. No lounge to sit in when the weather was poor . Not sure how this could be remedied. Not a lot of personal interaction during our 10 day stay other than with the guy on Reception and Roberto in the bar . A lengthy yet honest review with some suggestions for improvement for such a new hotel . Probably better suited to a certain demographic.

Great spot in the centre of everything inside Sitges, only a block from the beach. Hotel is newly renovated in mid 2024 and is absolutely wonderful to stay in with modern facilities like big walk in showers and large flat screens that allow you to cast your favourite programs. Rooftop pool is also a nice bonus. Couldn’t recommend this boutique hotel more! Thank you for the amazing stay.

The area is busy in the evenings and can get noisy, if you like quiet head for the harbour side of town.

This hotel is on a walking only street and parking is difficult or very expensive but once you have parked the car you are in the zone and have no need of it. Steps from the beach, restaurants, cathedrals and gold courses you will not need your car once here. The rooftop pool is very cute and the rooms are spacious! We really enjoyed our brief stay.

Great newly renovated hotel directly in the core. Private roof top patio was a welcome surprise. Would come again
