Dalys Inn

My stay was comfortable and pleasurable, however; I am extremely disappointed with the service. Having spoken to hotels.com on 2 occasions to confirm our breakfast which was included in my deal, the hotel stated they were unaware of this. After calling Hotels.com the second time from Ireland, from my mobile which cost me a lot of money via my mobile as it was an international call; which lasted over 23 mins, the food area was locked and no staff in sight for breakfast on Monday morning. Furthermore, the fire alarm went off at 3am on the Sat night and there were no staff on site. It took over an hour for the alarm to go off. I couldn't get back to sleep. Again, this was very disappointing. I was not planning on having lunch but did as I had no breakfast which obviously I had to pay for. On the upside, the bar staff and cleaning staff were great! Polite and attentive.

This was a last min booking for 1 night and I can't complain as I was given a family room as I had already booked the following 2 nights previously. Liam, the manager gave me the family room as he knew why I was visiting Donore and I had stayed there previously. I stayed in the room which was clean and very comfortable. I had drinks in the bar downstairs which was nice.

Room dusty,walls very dirty, fire alarm at 5am, no staff on site! Just residents, went for breakfast, told it wasnt included, i had email confirmation of booking, wasnt good enough! Nobody in charge, 1 waitress and 1 chef to cover fully booked??

Great Inn right near Newgrange. The staff was super helpful and friendly, food was tasty and the rooms were very spacious, neat, clean and tidy. Nothing flash but perfect for a budget stay!

The shower was in need of a great amount of maintenance. It was virtually unusable.

Was difficult to find with GPS. Check-in was at the reataurant across the parking lot. Room was small. Bed had wheels so kept moving around. Bed was uncomfortable. Hallways smelled like smoke. Very noisy - can hear neighbors and almost every sound. Connection to wifi was poor (on and off connection, more off than on).

Dalys Inn was good to stay in.Not fancy, but quite suitable. We returned for a second night, in part due to a wonderful antique and home furnishings shop across the street, Vintage Valley . Dalys is convenient to the- Not To Be Missed- neolithic sites of Newgrange and Knowth.

I was just staying there because it was close to a meeting. But I really liked it. It's not fancy, but the room was clean, bathroom was great, and the adjacent pub/restaurant had a rich, local feel to it. I plan to go back.

Arrived Saturday evening to check inn. Family rooms are above the bar so did music till 3am!!! Not good when we had a child. The room itself was dirty , walls , carpets , on top of wardrobe sand bathroom. After check-in and dropping our stuff to the room we took a look at restaurant menu which had no kids menu so not very family orientated. Especially when the family rooms are above the bar!!!
