"Our 5 night stay"

10.0

Me and 2 friends stayed here for 5 nights and we couldn't help but say how fantastic it was, the room was spacious had everything we needed, totally spotless everyday the room was lovely and clean thanx to the hard working cleaners. The food was amazing, real credit to the chefs, incredible food. The staff were lovely always smiling, always friendly, very accommodating. Cannot fault the staff or the inn at all, however there was one problem which isn't there fault, but people that had stayed at the inn were shouting and making a racket right outside our room, I think one even knocked on our door. I assumed they were drunk they were out there till gone midnight, made it very hard to sleep and was very annoying considering we had a few early mornings. Other than that fantastic place to stay, real good value for money.

"Good location and value for money. "

8.0

Very easy booking in although a notice at the accommodation to direct you to the pub where you chck in would have been useful. Very good location for exploring Co Meath and having a trip to Dublin. Facilities pretty basic but very clean and well serviced. We stayed on a 3 nighter over in the emerald isle for a family wedding. Nice little shop opposite for all of your breakfast needs and snacks. Very pleasant staff. Good quality food at the bistro but a little pricey. Friendly couple in antique shop nearby - very helpful. Fish and chip shop around the corner and Daly's Inn itself has a good traditional pub atmosphere. Really enjoyed a little visit to Drogheda where it's a bit like turning the clock back 30 years. The high street is full of independent shops not cluttered up with big chains all selling you stuff that is the same everywhere. Donore itself is very quiet but an ideal spot if you are keen on the history of the battle of the Boyne or the archaeology of Newgrange.

"Nice, no frills close to Newgrange "

8.0

About what you'd expect for 95 euros. 12 rooms are above the bar and restaurant. Others in separate building across parking lot. Checked in at bar downstairs. We had a family style room witn two twins and a double in the middle. Still had room for 4 suitcases on floor. Room are nice, clean and spacious. Bathroom room is, as well. No AC, as is common but window easily opens to let in lots of cool air. Only a few minutes from Newgrage Monument area and M1. Bar was great and caused no problems noise or otherwise. But we weren't there on weekend??? Families in other other rooms were very noisy late at night! Small grocery right across street was nice. Overall a very good and inexpensive place to stay.

"Exceptional"

10.0

Hotels.com had confirmed a breakfast included in the price but the premises was not aware of this until we showed our email. Thank you to Dalys Inn for honouring the breakfast arrangement eventhough they hadn't anticipated it.

"Love Ireland not Dalys Inn"

6.0

It was hard to figure out where to check in. No one that worked in the Pub was helpful. We seemed to be an inconvenience. The restaurant in the back was excellent and friendly. There was mold in the shower and the carpets were filthy. The phone in the room didn't work so there was no way to call the desk to get anything.

The hotel was convienyly located near Newgrange and it was a nice walk back. The staff are very friendly, let us check in early and gave us a ride out to Newgrange cause it was raining. Great experience.

"Nothing as advertised - Beware!"

2.0

Reservation stayed breakfast included but was told that was incorrect at check-in. Run down, worn rooms nothing like the pics. Room so small not even room for open suitcase on the floor. Super hard bed and flat pillows. Pool table right below our Room- very loud. Beware- drive a couple more miles and stay somewhere else!
