Location

Had reserved five premium historic rooms but was "upgraded" against my will and without prior notice to family rooms. Bad experience and very unprofessional. Also shortage of staff in the bar leading to long waits.

"Enttäuschend."

Wir hatten für 3 Nächte vom 27.05. - 30.05. eine Junior-Suite gebucht. Am 2. Abend erbaten wir an der Rezeption eine Vase für einen anläßlich eines Geburtstags erhaltenen Blumenstrauß. Dieser uns bei Dutzenden ähnlicher Wünsche in anderen 4- oder 5-Sterne-Hotels niemals abgelehnte Wunsch fand hier kein Verständnis. Unter mehrfachem Verweis auf hauseigene Vorgaben wurde die tageweise Überlassung einer Blumenvase klar abgelehnt. Uns wurde allen Ernstes angeboten, die Blumen im Gepäcklager des Hotels zu lagern und sie bei Abreise wieder abzuholen. Erst nachdem wir unser Unverständnis deutlichst zum Ausdruck gebracht hatten, wurde dann doch eingelenkt. Fast zeitgleich wurden wir mit einem Phishing-Versuch konfrontiert: wir erhielten mit Hotel-Absender eine E-Mail, in der wir namentlich zu weiteren Angaben aufgefordert wurden, um die Hotelreservierung für den Folgetag zu garantieren. An der Hotel-Rezeption wurden wir darüber informiert, dass weitere Hotelgäste bereits einen identischen Versuch gemeldet hätten. Man bat uns einen Screenshot unseres iPad machen zu dürfen. Unsere besorgte Anregung, man möge doch vorsorglich alle Hotelgäste darüber informieren, dass das hoteleigene Buchungssystem offensichtlich infiltriert sei, wurde mit dem Hinweis auf laufende Bemühungen die Hoteldirektion zu erreichen kommentiert. Auch das Auschecken verlief gewöhnungsbedürftig: eine sehr junge, kaum verständliche weil fast flüsternde Dame wickelte den Prozeß geschäftsmäßig ab. Kein freundliches Wort, keine Frage nach unserer Zufriedenheit, kein „Gute Reise“-Wunsch.
