Hollyhock Country House

This is a very charming nearly 100 year old farmhouse. Our room was very cozy and welcoming. Lucille made us feel right at home. We had a wonderful breakfast including fresh baked bread and pastries. We enjoyed our stay here and loved this very unique and special place.

We love visiting with Lucille. She provides a lovely breakfast - fresh squeezed OJ and more.

The property is unique. There are many interesting items from around the world. Lucille is a welcoming host.

Building was so old and out of the way that we did not stay. Kitchen was right next to the room. No bathroom off room. Had to go out of room and use a shared bath so we decided not to stay.

Great clean property. Very kitschy and unique. The host Lucille is accommodating and gives great tips on places to check out nearby. House stayed nice and cool during the hot days and it was nice to fall asleep to the crickets chirping outside. One thing to note is the shower is more of a tub with a shower attachment, not a traditional shower.

I liked the natural setting, uniqueness, art, furnishings, excellent Hostess, location. Its secluded yet close to town.

This is a country farmhouse filled with antiques, art and memorabilia. This is a European style bed and breakfast establishment. The rooms are small, you do not have a private bathroom but it is cozy, quiet, charming, and clean. The house is situated on a large property with lots of greenery. You can sit out on the covered front porch and watch the birds. The owner lives on the property and serves a continental breakfast with delicious home baked bread and pastries. This is probably not the place for someone looking for a base of operations while spending an extended time in the Sonoma Valley but it is great for one or two nights of touring.

The hostess, Lucille, was friendly and helpful. The property was very quiet and mellow.
