Villas Carrizalillo

Bed was very comfortable, the bathroom wonderful, good location

I leaned towards this property due to the pool. The pool is tiny and on the ground floor with nowhere to sit. To lounge one had to go to an upper floor balcony. Complete disconnect.

Everything about the Villas were exceptional. We had a balcony looking onto the playa and spent many hours enjoying the morning view, sunset and the night skies. The sound of the ocean was wonderful morning, noon and night.

The only drawback to our stay was the lack of hot water, really it was the lack of even warm water for a shower.

Restaurant has a lovely view over the bay and ocean, grounds were generally nicely kept.

One lamp was not grounded and gave mild shock if you touched it, the cover over the drain in the shower was loose and left a gaping hole, the AC was not able to be set to auto (two units, one was not strong enough, but two was too much so I had to keep playing with the settings and never got the consistent temp I wanted).

Best of the best…room, view, restaurant, staff, price…❤️

Only negative is we had to leave!

Villa was also good overall, nice to have a kitchen with a kid. Good atmosphere, great views. Best beach. Great common terrace, ok swimming pool too.

We were very disturbed by traffic in the morning as we had a room just next to the parking lot where trucks came every morning and made noise around 6.30. Also bad smell from sewers in the bathroom was very unpleasant. Bathroom could use a little maintenance.

Lovely property perched on cliffs overlooking Playa Carrizalillo. Apart from the sounds of the ocean, very quiet spot. Nice pool and an area with lounge chairs and hammocks to sit out and admire the ocean view and the spectacular sunsets . Restaurant on the property is very good!

Quite difficult to find property if you have never been there before. Lots of steps to get down to the beach. Lack of hot water in our room!

The view at sunset is spectacular!

It was beautiful looking out at the ocean from the deck that was across from our room. Room service brought us breakfast and cocktails there.

Wish we had stayed longer. It’s pricey.
