We had a wonderful stay. Transparently, pictures do not make justice to this place, it is much better in person! It is a real luxury boutique hotel but also with a personal / family touch. The service and the attentions that Jason and Rebeca offer are quite unmatched. Breakfast was really amazing. Truly recommended, it was one of the key highlights of our holiday!

Our refrigerator was fully stocked for breakfast when we arrived and they offered to refill any items we used. It was so relaxing to have everything in our kitchen in the morning. The hosts thought of everything we could possibly need so our entire time was relaxing. Since this was a vacation with our adult children, being together in one house was perfect to catch up and spread out in the amazing space.

We have stayed at properties around the literal world. This one rates at the top as far as what a traveler needs and what the property provides. It is beautiful without being fussy, comfortable, fully stocked with quality products, and at an excellent location by amazing river walks and nesting grounds of the elusive blue duck. It rocks.

Nothing. Not one thing. What we could have used, though, were simple instructions for things like their heating/cooling system, hot tub, and the major appliances like the amazing coffeemaker and oven/range.

The owners are kind and gracious hosts. My trip was more spontaneous, and they did an incredible job in helping me put together a wonderful visit to Tongariro. The bed and bedding are excellent. The cedar hot tub is wonderful after a long day out. Most of all, the peace and quiet was great.
