OYO New Inn Hotel

Fantastic place to stay. We used it as a base to visit the lakes and dales for a couple of days. Hotel/pub was in a lovely little village. We were in the Superior room which had a lovely view overlooking the river. Room itself was big with a nice comfortable double bed. Cleanliness was ok, room had clearly been cleaned however just a few marks on the wall. This didn't matter too much or affect our stay. Bathroom was a good size and clean. Could have done with some toiletries (no shower gel provided). Breakfast was fabulous - pastries, cereals and full English and great quality!! We ate in the bar one of the evenings, food was good and reasonably priced. Parking was free. Staff were nice, in particular Dave who was great and couldn't be more helpful!!! We will definitely return as there is so much more to explore in the area and would 100% choose The New Inn as our base.

Very friendly welcome. Really good room with hospitality tray and very clean bathroom. Good meal and selection of drinks. We thought continental breakfast was included so were delighted to be offerd a full cooked feast.

Fantastic staff & food. Only downside was the radiator in the room would not work neither did the towel rail

The staff was so accommodating towards us and very kind. Breakfast was amazing! Room was very clean and cosy. Would 100% recommend to a friend.

First - understand that the cost of a stay is very cheap.The Superior Double room was actually good with a very comfortable bed, TV, tea coffee etc . The only issue that we would point out is cleaning - as in I had to clean the bath before using it because it had a 'tidemark' indicating that it hadn't hadn't been cleaned for some time. The menu was a little predictable yet the food was properly cooked and nicely presented. Breakfast was fine too.

The standard of the cuisine was far better than most, and the restaurant prices reasonable. I just wish you got a full pint of beer (£5) without asking twice. Despite being adjacent a road, traffic noise was not a problem, and I slept with the window open. The area is Yorkshire at it’s best.

Weather was really good for October we had 2 small dogs and the hotel were very accommodating the food menu was really good in the evening and they even gave us a throw for the two little dogs to lie on instead of the floor boards our stay included breakfast which was excellent both the manager the afternoon before and the other manager at breakfast were really good room clean and nicely decorated tea and coffee and water given lovely stay with car parking free

Excellent last minute booking that was close to my route South with work. Incredible value and truly exceptional food. The new Michelin star chef turns out great food. Nothing was a problem especially as I turned up to breakfast 30 mins early as I had an early start and was still offered a bacon or sausage bap to go. Cheers all will definitely be back very soon.
