OYO New Inn Hotel

Easy check in, large room and bathroom. Nice bar area plus great breakfast and good coffee.

Was a very mixed stay. Beautiful location because close to cave and waterfall. Room and hotel dated. Bathroom only had 1 tap on sink which was cold and a wet room. Needed a upgrade. Menu limited but was plentiful but breakfast was greesy and other options. Bar area needs updating seats riped. Staff where good at breakfast explaining what was available and helpful.

I arrived tired and in the dark, which I think probably improved the ratings…Room was very basic with an uncomfortable bed. The toilet didn’t flush. I had to run around in the shower to get wet. I didn’t expect the Ritz. I just wanted basic, clean and functional and was left wanting.

The hotel was easy to find, plenty of parking and the staff were helpful and friendly. The food options were limited but our food was excellent. The children’s meals however didn’t go down very well as the chips were covered in far too much rock salt for us let alone children, I had to brush off as much salt as I could do that they would eat something. The family room was neat and tidy with sturdy bunk beds, however the bathroom either needs a deep clean or re-grouting as the shower/bath area looked filthy. The double bed or at least the mattress was very tired and stained with NO mattress cover or protector over it so we could see some of the mattress stains through the sheet of the bed, which isn’t the most appealing thing to sleep on at all. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, again the staff were helpful and friendly.

We had a very pleasant 2 night stay here. Tte staff were friendly and helpful, food good, rooms clean and comfortable. No complaints, but we did feel that it was understaffed, particularly at breakfast. There didn't seem to be staggered breakfast times and this would have alleviated the situation.

Family room cost us 121 for a night with breakfast included for 3 people in the 6 weeks hols, so decent value for nowadays. Plenty of parking, maybe a tad understaffed, but lots of places struggle with that I reckon. We had burgers for evening meal which were nice with generous portions. A little bit dog eared here and there but not to a fault. We had a pleasant peaceful night's rest and the breakfast was decent with full English and cereal/croissant options available. Clapham was nice but not to Much to see and do.

Very comfortable room with a bath that was much appreciated after a long walk. Excellent breakfast included in the price.

Enjoyed 2 nights here. Nice big room, comfortable bed. Very quiet. Lovely tasty breakfast, served by a very friendly and efficient man. Did a couple of nice walks. Would definitely stay again.

The room we had was big and had plenty of drawer space and wardrobe. The bathroom was massive but if you have short legs beware as the bath is very deep so getting out could be a problem. The window opened but not a lot and had quite afew cobwebs in the window but it’s an old building so be prepared. Everything else was spotless. We didn’t have teabags in the room it was all coffee and hot chocolate sachets. Plenty of biscuits though. Good food and breakfast excellent.

Fantastic, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, locals are friendly , room was great, comfortable and clean and food was excellent. Five stars . I look forward to coming again
