i was very impressed to find such a good hotel in mamaia, hotel is very clean, staff very polite and the food is good,the beech is kind of less organized but the hotel pool is perfect, i think they deserve 5 stars not 4

I enjoyed it the pool was awesome only thing is that I didn’t get a chance to use the spa they were booked out

Felt unsafe staying here. Hotel was poorly lit and I was glad to leave. Right on the beach but I would not recommend.

Good hotel, excellent food in the restaurant, beach well organized

The hotel is right on the beach with numerous attractions nearby. Parking can be tricky - although free if you park outside, the spaces are limited and the lot is always congested. The food is decent (we had half board with the breakfast and lunch included) and the variety is good: traditional Romanian dishes, fresh fruit and salads are always on the menu. Lunch was served between 1 PM and 2:30 PM and we had to juggle to make it. The beach is clean and well maintained - chairs, towels and umbrellas are provided free of charge, however, you had to tip the personnel to pay any attention to your needs. Rooms are decent and clean - nothing spectacular or worthy of 4 stars, and your AC will only work when you are in your room and your room key is inserted in a special reading device, feature normally seen in a 2 stars hotel. We paid for two apartments and were totally surprised to see that one of them was on the first floor and the other on the fourth. Make sure you enter in your reservation comments all the specifics, like the rooms have to be together, sea view, balcony, etc. and do not rely on the hotel's personnel common sense to put a family with more than one room reserved in adjacent rooms. The hotel has only one small elevator, always busy and not convenient for people with disabilities - be prepared to wait.

Spending the kind of money I spent on the rooms which was $250 x 3 rooms you would expect that you could have reliable wi-fi in your rooms and around the hotel property. 99% of the time the internet did not work in our rooms. It was also on and off around the pool. I guess in today's world wi-fi is important and everyone depends on it. Hate having to sit in lobby to do business. Also during a group meal one member was never severed their meal. We all finished and realized a gal never got hers. No one seemed too concerned. Another thing that really bothered me was the Eastern Europe attitude. For example to get towels you get a plastic room card which you show at the pool and beach. If you loose the card you are charged 25 euros. No one lost their card but it was like the KGB checking you out of your room. If you can afford the price of admission is this heavy hand really necessary It is a nice hotel in a good location it was with the prices and pictures we expected a lot more.

The hotel was nice. The staff was amazing. Wi-Fi was horrible and I was unable to work while in my room.

Although I have booked a room with see view at check in I have got a different one, I have claimed my type of room and finally I have got it, after they checked the Expedia original booking. This experience was not pleasant at all!

We took our chance for a Easter weekend on the Black Sea, and boy, were we rewarded! First surprise: available through Expedia, super fast booking, and excellent rates. Second surprise: outstanding staff. Third surprise, and not a pleasant one: parking. Crowded and convoluted. Fourth surprise, also not so much a pleasure: the air conditioning system. Works only on heating, or cooling, but not both, and cannot keep a reasonable constant temperature in the room. Lucky enough, the rooms have a balcony, and one can always open the door to let in some fresh air. Fifth surprise, a very tasty one: Easter Lunch and Dinner available, both in buffet style, and most reasonably priced. The food was really exceptional! There was even live entertainment, and a clown for the little ones. The sixth, and the greatest one: After-church welcome party, with cake, painted eggs and wine on the house. This one really brought tears to my eyes. Thank you!
