Iaki Hotel

I will return for: the great view, the clean and comfy room, the seating. What I didn't like and I hope they will change until my next visit: they charge separately if you store food or beverages in the mini-bar(and you only find about this when you get to your room), wish they would let you know before you book. The mini-bar isn't cooling the stuff stored in it. The Jacuzzi was closed on Monday and on Tuesday(I think it is closed during weekdays), one of the reasons we chose the hotel was because it had a Jacuzzi so this was a huge minus for us. The room doors should be soundproof because you can hear everything that is going on in the hallway, I definitely don't want to stay here when the hotel is over 80% booked because of the noise. There was only one chair in the room and none on the balcony(room was on the last floor), would've been great if we found an extra chair on the balcony. The AC was on fan mode only, so no temperature control even though it got pretty hot, at one point there were 36 degrees Celsius in the room.

The staff was helpful and courties. The rooms had wifi which the listing didn't mention. It only mentioned wired internet for the rooms. I had a great stay!

Went for a city break on the 1st of March. Price was 49 euro, with breakfast, for a double. Got a room with sea view, because the room was available and the receptionist was very nice. Otherwise you pay extra for the sea view.

Definitely not a 4 strars hotel, but does the job. The beds are a bit uncomfortable heating system didn't work properly...

I would love to stay here once more before I travel back to the U.S.

Not value for the money. I would not book for regular price . Discounted price would be fine . Overall good hotel but there are better hotels with similar price

We felt a little short changed after staying at the hotel as the rooms were in excess of £150/night. This didn't represent good value in my opinion. Most of the staff were't particularly attentive. One or two were good but most seemed put out to even speak to us. Check-in was okay, but during our stay, the service around the pool and seated outside areas was quite slow. We had to continually get someone's attention and were seldom served pro-actively. On check-out, the receptionist failed to even say thank you, after we paid a lot of money for 2 rooms for 3 nights, let alone a smile. Most of the staff seem very unhappy. The rooms were very basic in appearance but clean. Certainly not anything to warrant the high price. There was no wifi in the rooms which is unusual for Romania where this is a basic provision. They did provide a cable though, but this allowed a laptop and our phones and tablets couldn't get service. Apparently, another part of the hotel had been renovated, but we didn't see this. Our rooms were the minimum one could provide. Parking at the front of the hotel was inadequate. It's crammed in with cars, some in spaces and some just stuck wherever the owners could manage to shove them. After a while we got lucky and parked, and decided to leave the car their all weekend as it would be unlikely we'd get a space. The pool was an off-green colour and we decided to avoid it.

A problem finding parking there and disagree on paying extra for gym and jacuzzi,should've been included. Overall,nice staying,clean,decent and friendly stuff!

Great hotel with very friendly hotel staff. I was quite surprised how spacious our room was. It was pretty massive. Rooms were clean and in great condition. As the hotel is right on the beach, the view from our massive balcony was great. I recommend getting a sea-facing room. Their parking lot was always packed with no parking but this was no problem since we always parked right up front by the entrance and the hotel staff parked our car for us. We just picked up our car key on the way out. I'm told that the hotel is rather famous because it is built by a famous Romanian footballer. I highly recommend this hotel, especially since the rooms were so affordable.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here, loved the pool area outside & good choice of food for the buffets. Free wifi is also available inside and out. There were just a few minor drawbacks. Our booking included the half board option but when we arrived we were told this was breakfast and lunch, not dinner as one would expect and due to the check in & out time, this meant no lunch was included on the day of arrival nor the day of departure. Also the standard double room was in fact a twin room and because of the fixed lamp on the headboard in the middle, moving them together would have proved awkward for sleeping. The room also was in desperate need of updating & not 4 star quality but adequate. Finally the hotel only provided towels for the poolside but not for use on the beach - we were told we would have buy some.
