Gumbo Limbo Jungle Resort

We loved our stay at Gumbo Limbo! It's a beautiful resort that's just the right size. It's located in an ideal location for excursions with a tour company or on your own, just have a 4 wheel drive. We loved having a delicious breakfast in the morning under the open air dining area and looking out at the lush property. Mike was the best host! We had many laughs with him and he is so knowledgeable about the area.Dinners at the resort were delicious and being able to unwind after a day of excursions in the pool with a cocktail was fabulous. Don't expect TV's or AC, you'll be fine, be in the moment and take it all in. We were very comfortable and relaxed. Thank you Mike, we loved your company and your beautiful tropical resort!!!

This place is beautiful small place to stay. It is sitting on top of a hill with a awesome view of trees and jungle around it. The owner built it him with his son . It has a nice pool and the cabins in a circle around with beautiful gravel paths lit up with lights at night. Also a very nice eating communal area close to the pool. We enjoyed the experience.
