Classic Lodges Grinkle Park Easington

Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Only negative feedback i can give is the meals in the evening are little on the small side

Fantastic place to stay. Great staff all very helpful. Food is spot on. Would defiantly stay there again next time I’m in the area.

Really enjoyed our two night stay . Lovely hotel in a fabulous setting . Our room was spacious and comfortable { Kildale } . The breakfast offered a great choice . We ate in the restaurant both nights and was pleased with the menu/ standard and service . We stayed midweek and the amount of guests was ideal . However we could imagine the hotel could feel overly busy when hosting a wedding .

Dining at this property was better than expected. Nice property as well. Staff were good. One of the mattresses in our room (desperately) needs replacement. If you’re in the Skylark room, be sure to let your partner take the left side of the bed /mattress

Beautiful hotel,friendly staff and fabulous food

Hotel seems to be trading on former glory days, 4 stars...I do not think so ! Its in dire need of Investment to return it to where it once was. Very limited bar choice couldn't even have a Sauvignon Blank by the glass. Our room (Jenny Bradley) overall could have been lovely but was let down badly by house keeping and bits of tissue stuffed in the needing attention windows. No TV throughout the hotel due to a transmitter fire on 10th August, 6 weeks on when we checked in, still no TV... would have been nice to know this information before our arrival or even on our arrival, we didn't know till we attempted to switch it on. The food was good. Paul (the Operations Manager) is a great asset to the Grinkle dealing with guest problems under difficult circumstances. All the staff were polite and friendly and did their best with the underfunded resources available to them.

The ceiling in our room had quite bad water damage flaky paint and a big cobweb. Some stains on side of bath from previous occupant.

Lovely old Manor House with nice grounds and attractive public areas, nice big room with everything we needed, good bathroom. Only bad feature was the bed had a dip in the middle, so not very comfy

We stayed here for our mini honeymoon, our only regret is not booking for longer. It is an absolutely beautiful property, amazing grounds and views immediately on arrival. Extremely peaceful, always. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and professional. The hotel is immaculate. Our room was lovely with an extensive hot drink selection provided. Very large bathroom too. Breakfast was a full English, very delicious and served quickly, there's also juice, cereal, toast etc, plenty to choose from. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, we will definitely be returning.
