The staff were friendly enough, but didn't listen when I told them about my allergies, so I was very very ill during the night.

The proper procedure wasn't followed when I told the staff about my allergies, I wasn't given the information to read so ended up being very very ill. And when I reported it to the manager the following morning, he wasn't very empathetic and tried to say it was my fault for not reading the allergy information that WAS NOT given to me to read. Apparently he did report my experience to head office but they haven't been in touch to follow up and see how I am, that's IF my sickness was reported to head office. I was very distressed and was ill for the following few days because of their carelessness. If I would've been a person who had to use an epi pen, they would've without a doubt had a death on their hands. I was basically given the wrong meal, meant for my husband. We ordered the same meal but one was meant to be allergy free.Very very unacceptable. Very poor customer service. Absolutely disgusted with the lack of empathy and contact.

The pub is a typical hungry horse franchise, not for me but that wasn’t why I stayed so it didn’t bother me.

Hotel staff fine and helpful

Pub staff unfriendly, somewhat brusk and generally unhelpful. Everything seemed to much trouble and attitude came over as take it or leave it.

Very clean room.
