Feel very sorry for the receptionist who seemed to be doing all the jobs, reception, porter and front of house in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Help with the luggage was offered, which was good because there are just stairs to the 1st floor. The restaurant was closed on the first night of the stay but an alternative was suggested. The restaurant menu is not terribly imaginative, but was quite acceptable. The breakfast was good considering the small number of people staying. Very convenient location for a visit to Puy De Dome

It is quite easy to bag your head on the sloping roof of the 1st floor rooms.

The bed was comfy, the shower was lovely and the location was fine. When we asked, the man on reception contacted the nearby restaurant to request a table. Otherwise there was little to like.

We chose the hotel because it looked smart on the photos with nice views and because it had a restaurant. We asked for a table when we booked and said we would arrive around 20.00. We arrived at 19.50 on a Friday night of a bank holiday weekend to find that the restaurant had closed at 19.30. The hotel had emailed us ten minutes earlier to say that it was closing for the night, but we didn’t see it and by then it was too late to change our booking The view from our room was over a main road and I struggled to recognize the hotel from the photos. It all looked as weary as we felt on realizing we had to go searching for a restaurant in a remote area we didn’t know. The receptionist suggested a restaurant about 5 minutes drive but didn’t know if it was open. When we asked him, he agreed to message them to see if they were open but it would have been nice if he had offered to book given that he knew we needed somewhere to eat.

The staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful.

The outlet for the kitchen was just below our bedroom window. With no AC on a hot day, we opened the window in search of fresh air, there was only the smell of bad fat used for frying. The bedclothes seemed to be infused with the same smell.

Bike storage, good breakfast, excellent staff and decent size room

Shower had no screen or curtain which made bathroom.floor wet and slippy, low hanging light shade in main bedroom. Shelf loose next to bed

nice location, fine breakfast, good to have a drink at the end of the evening, fine beds

Maybe directions a long the road could be better.
