Convenient location on site restaurant

Room wasn’t clean no lampshade on the lamp expose wires on the extractor fan in the bathroom

Location was good for getting to the ferry terminal.

It was generally ok.

The hotel was close to the ferry, it was easy to find. The car park was big enough not to worry about not being able to find a parking space

The reception was tired, dowdy and musty. The reception staff un welcoming. The room was horrendous, filthy and a disgusting smell. The bathroom had vibes of 1970's hospital. The wardrobe ( with spare bedding inside) smelled so bad of mothballs it was nauseating making the bedding unusable and unable to store our clothes. The windows & nets were filthy. Mousetrap's under the bedside table was the final nail. NEVER AGAIN. The hairdryer was actually sticky and again filthy Breakfast not taken due to overall impressions and the feeling that it would be equally as disappointing and made with the same standard. Couldn't wait to leave 1st thing

A touch basic but super if you are getting a ferry from Portsmouth

BREAKFAST IN HOTEL WAS GOOD AND SERVED IN NICE ROOM.

BREAKFAST WAS SPOILED BY PEOPLE WHO LET THEIR CHILDREN RUN AROUND THE ROOM SCREAMING AND SHOUTING WITH NO REGARD TO OTHER GUESTS, THIS ALSO APPLIES TO THE FARMHOUSE RESTURANT.
