Saltwater Luxury Apartments

Second stay here. Both times have been fabulous. Service of Beth and Wayne always great. Renovations weren’t completed by the time we arrived so we were graciously upgraded to the penthouse suite, the furthest room from the renovations. Very pleased with Saltwater Luxury apartments. Will always stay here when visiting Port Douglas.

Couldn’t have been happier with this apartment. Had a 3 bedroom apartment and it has everything you need and more. The staff were great, checked us in early, were always happy to help. The location was perfect, central to everything. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back.

It was very comfortable. The apartment was big and clean. Had a lot of facilities and equipment such as pans, bowls glasses, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap and much more. Very flexible and easy to access. A very central location with Coles and other shops just minutes away and the beach a mere 10 min walk. Wayne and beth were very welcoming.

Nice apartment in Main Street of Port Douglas Resturant and Shopping area . Very quite and well appointed Unit . Will go back

The room was very spacious, we would have preferred a slightly nicer smaller room but this would be a great room for a family with slightly older children/child (bedrooms not very close for young children and access to bathroom). The location in town with easy 5-10 minute walk to beach or marina was perfect. We did not use the pool, but it is small though adequate as it did not get much use. There is some noise from being right in town and the birds were surprisingly noisy (I guess typical especially for spring) but it did not bother us much. The room was nice and modern - not especially luxurious. Internet is very spotty, TV gets minimal channels (but who's watching tv!), and housekeeping is only once a week. You have to wash your own towels and dishes and take your own trash out, but the kitchen is well stocked for any cooking you want to do on your own.

Saltwater is ideally located on Macrossan Street, amongst the shops and a short walk to the beach and mariner. Our apartment was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Reception staff were courteous and helpful when it came to booking tours. Highly recommend.
