Nkomazi Game Reserve by NEWMARK

Nice and remote location, great variety of animals. Jonny the guide was very passionate about finding the animals and very helpful and knowledgeable.

Superficially clean but it was not thoroughly cleaned. Found a toilet bin full of tissue papers with blood left by the previous guests. The pool was not clean as had some small debris so didn’t use it. The hot ran out after the first shower. There is an additional R440 per person per night which they call a conservation fee which you only get to know about once you make a non-refundable booking. This is unfair and should be clearly stated before you book so that people make up their minds. The biggest let down was the food which was quite basic for such premium prices that people pay.

We had a lovely stay. Everything was exceptional.

The Lodge is located in a splendid part of the reserve, along a river ... just fabulous views and wonderful scenery. The drives were fantastic and many wildlife sightings were enjoyed

The food was really delicious

The effort in celebration of anniversary should be re looked, the property allows for a more romantic setup than paddles on the bed.

Well maintained, secluded but well laid out. Lovely Boma. Rooms great, overlooking the river.

We were only there one night☹️

We had an exceptional stay at the Nkomazi private reserve. Four game drives were scheduled over our two-night stay, and each one exceeded our expectations. The reserve is spectacular in both size and beauty, and our highly knowledgeable guide allowed us to observe many animals up close. The service, dining experience, and comfort of the lodge were outstanding. A truly unique experience that we highly recommend.

Amazing reserve, breathtaking views and exceptional wildlife in the park!

We stayed in a tent near the water and that was very nice during the day but during the night the noise of the water was rather intense.
