Hotel President Terme

We have been staying at hotel president for 31 years , the staff are professional ,kind & caring our room is lovely and kept immaculate by the staff the treatments are first class The one thing that lets you down is the food, the breakfast is good but the lunch and dinner are not The chef over describes the the items on the menu this year was the worst its been it has slowly deteriorated over the last few years we would rather pay more and have better quality food The buffet at lunchtime is poor compared to how it used to be there is nothing to put with a salad if you do not want what is on the menu There are never any vegetables with the main course just a lot of dried up cold vegetables on the buffet table which are inedible The chef should maybe put on less choice but good quality meat and fish with vegetables served at the same time and a vegetarian option and not make it all sound like Michelin star food quality which it certainly isn’t our rating would be 2 star Also when the hotel is busy the waiters cannot cope as there are not enough of them Your saving grace is your pastry chef as her desserts are 5 star That is why we have rated 4 stars overall

I was very happy to return to the wonderful President Hotel in Abano after 11 years having gone there for seven consecutive years with my late husband. I was happy to find several of the same employees and very relieved to find that in spite of being under new management and now part of a group, instead of the Sabbion family, it had lost none of its charm and excellent warm service. The hotel is very comfortable with excellent food. The Spa is fantastic and I benefit enormously from the Fango, thermal bath and massage as well as a wonderful facial and an excellent hairdresser. The fango, bath snd massage relieve aches and pains. I cannot wait to go back there for longer!

I had a lovely relaxing time on this my second visit. Elegant room, easy access to spa pool and restaurant. Staff helpful and friendly. Would like more alternatives for dinner such as bar snacks or other light meal.
