Arctic Nature Hotel

Affordable hotel near the golden circle. Our rooms were nice, but one had a strong chemical smell and the other had a constant stinky bathroom - this was different than the usual sulfur smell from the hot water. Something seemed wrong with the venting. The rooms had nice geothermal heated floors. It was walking distance to a few restaurants and grocery stores.

The reception people were so friendly, and made great recommendations! The location was perfect! And the beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. The kitchen had everything you'd need for your stay. Wi-fi was also great.

We asked if we could check in early due to long flight and jet lag and they were very accomadating. We are grateful.

We were able to check in early the owner was very accommodating. We even had housekeeping which with an apartment style room I didn't think was needed. Down town is walking distance and would recommend this place to couples or families.

Happy stay, for me is the best hotel style i've ever experience. It's not about luxury, Im talking about real living, It's show as hotel but you feel like home as service apartment or even better, the room is so big for stay in the room than go out. There is separate part kitchen and living room which as you can cook. Staffs are really helpful and give nice information.

Shower in room was broken so we weee offered he room for free which was very generous and unexpected. We headed to the local swimming pool just around the corner the next morning where we were warmly welcomed. Instead of just using their facilities to shower, we rented, yes rented, swimsuits and spent a lovely morning in the warm outdoor pools with snow all around. What a treat!

We checked in very due to road closure. When we arrived hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. We asked and he give us helpful tips of getting to Hofn and sites to visit. We had only one night stay as a pass thru to south coast. Highly recommend

Clean and comfortable place to stay. Only wish there would have been a way to turn down the heat.

Very clean and has kitchen and all needed supplies (pots/pans/cups/bowls/silverware). It's a no frills motel but has all the basic amenities you need for a simple stay. The front desk is very nice and full of advice on local eateries.
