The access to the lobby was hard to find

My apartment was great with all kind of Conforts , but the swimming pool was totally dirty almost unusable due to insects inside and no water recycling.

The staff are very helpful, courteous and professional.

With the included breakfast, the food was delicious, and the quality is good, but the selection is quite very limited. Compared to Citadines Bacolod, the variety here is noticeably smaller, with less than half the choices for main dishes, beverages, and desserts. Considering the amount being charged, I honestly expected a wider selection and a more satisfying overall dining experience, so I left feeling somewhat shortchanged.

I booked to celebrate a milestone with my partner and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. The initial check-in was a complete nightmare but the manager and receptionist made up for it by accommodating my request to change rooms to a cooler, quieter room. New room is very clean, comfortable, as expected of Citadines accommodations. We were able to get much needed rest. Aside from the new room, the staff also gave us free vouchers for the hotel. We enjoyed a simple breakfast buffet and free massage. Their massage spa is the best I have tried in my life. The massage in itself is a great experience. They also accommodated my request for a late check-out. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they gave it to us for free. Truly grateful for all the experience that Citadines Iloilo gave me and my partner.

Check-in could be improved. The hallways didn't have aircon when we arrived and staff said it was on but just on low setting when it was obviously turned off. Being it was summer, it was unbearable. I was also forced to sign up to be a member because I requested for an early check-in and there was a fee for it. They could be honest about this when I talked to them over the phone. When I checked-in, the card wasn;t working and I couldn't get in my first room. After waiting for more than 45 minutes, I was assigned a new room which was beside the street and was noisy and AC wasn't working properly. I feel like these are things they can check before a guest checks-in, making sure cards and locks are working and AC is working.
