"Palmira Resort"

8.0

An older, but nice hotel. Location was good with a few restaurants and stores near by. We had the pool almost to ourselves, which we took advantage of.

"Needs updating but still good"

8.0

Very dog friendly and a great beach location. Dog was able to be off leash at the beach, no problems. Pool and rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast included, but there weren't many food options. Lots of food options within walking distance though. Motorbike rentals directly across the street, we haggled with him a bit since it was a slow weekend.

Buildings need renovation, things are a little run down. Hotel has like a 1940s Havana vibe but it hasn't been well kept, peeling paint, sun damaged furniture, etc. Looks super old compared to the neighbor resorts. Lots of ants inside our villa at the beginning of the stay. Guards lock the front gate after 11pm, so we ended up waking them every time we came in late from having drinks.

"Good enough."

8.0

Clean swimming pool. Large room. This resort is an old style one which built up 20 years ago and it’s cheap compared to others so we don’t expect much more about the furniture or breakfast anyway. Security man is very useful and friendly.

Need another kind of doormat for the bathroom. Need more lights in the room as well.

"Faded Glory..still many good points"

6.0

This hotel has seen its best days, and is overly geared to Russian tourists. Still, it has remained parts of it’s glory, with a beautiful garden and great location on the beach. The rooms were spacious, and the shower was warm. If you are kiting in Mui Ne it’s smack on the best part of the beach, at a reasonable price. However, be aware that the internet is almost not working, that the pool feels dirty (maybe just old tiles?) and that our aircondition on max still led to a lukewarm room at night. Not ok. The included breakfast is ok, but the lunch was _really_ overpriced and a bit sad (sorry, we don’t have chicken today). So expensive that lunch here was our most expensive meal in Mui Ne, after a weeks stay. Plenty of good restaurants outside though.

"Not worth coming"

2.0

I broke my knee yesterday and checked in at Little Moscow (Palmira) for the night. There are almost only russian speaking guest there. Paid 75 USD for a big room at the beachfront. Sadly the A/C didn’t work so there came a guy to «repair» it. The reception might have sent a cat instead, I sure the resault would be the same. So I was humping on crutches all the way back to the room after eating on the other side of the street only to find out that the A/C still didn’t work. No chance of walking all the way back to the reception so I grabbed the phone to notice the reception. So far so good but the phone didn’t work eighter. Tried to connect my phone to wifi to send the hotel a message but none of the networks available responded to anything. Connection seems ok but the speed is so poor you cannot send or download anything. To lower the sweating temp in the room I had to keep the door wide open trough the night. At 4:49 I woke up from a big slam and a lot of noice from the second floor when the guest upstairs starting pushing furnitures or something over the floor. The breakfast buffet contained everything you need and more. The staff however was running around like headless chickens without even looking at you. None of them had any level of english so there was no point of trying to get some assistance to carry my breakfast to my table. Three times other guests offered me some help while the numberious staff descretly watching while pretending to be busy doing something else. Tried to complain at the frontdesk but very limited english knowledge by the staff made any conversation impossible. Ended up just leaving the Palmira humping on my crutches simply shaking my head. I was so upset I left my shirt and glasses there but I rather buy new ones instead of humping back the. I guess there is no sense of sending a note to the resort since there probably ain’t nobody capable of reading an english mail. Or care about the content. Very low level of service, communication and technical level at this massively overprized hotel. Stay away if you ain’t looking for a night in hell..

"Avoid this place"

2.0

Desperately in need of refurbishment. The hotel is geared up to cater for Russian package holidays, anything else is seems to be an inconvenience. We had a deluxe beach villa, location brilliant, rest well below average. Shower tepid if you are lucky, nearly always cold. We complained about no hot water in the basin in the bathroom and was told that only cold water is plumbed into the sink! The wi-fi is terrible to non existent. Breakfast poor, only bland Russian breakfast available I could go on but won't, find somewhere else to stay

"Four weeks in same place"

4.0

Hotel is in good location, short way to shops and restaurants. Before our trip I wrote to hotel, and we got the room we asked, that was great. But...almost anybody couldn't speak english. My english is quite poor, but many times better than them. The hotel was full of Russian people, and maybe thats why all hotelstaff speaks russia. All signs in hotelarea was in russia, waiters and receptionest speak russia, and really, they didn't understand english. Hotel spa "menu" was in russian language. New Year show menu was in russia, and the evening show was in russia. We didn't understand a word of it. If the hotel is just for russian people, they should say it in Booking. Also the hotel was quite oldish, cleaning is poor, breakfast was not good(russian style maybe). Pool was not clean. So we don't have many good words for this hotel.

"Good frontbeach position but so need of a renovation."

6.0

We stayed in this hotel at the beginning of May. The main factor made us decide to book a room in this hotel was the wide beach and secondly because they accept dog. Unfortunately the structure is quite dated and bad maintened, clean service failing and situated in the russian zone where every service is targeted fot them. Lots of local families with crying children. Price cheap.
