Hotel Santika Premiere Jogja

All staff recognizes and calls you by name almost immediately upon checking in. That is a pleasant and heartfelt touch.

Slow service in restaurant for dinner, despite being only person eating because I usually eat early evening which is not the custom in SE Asia.

Compared to the other Hotel Santikas we stayed at, this is the best. It it cultural, gorgeous and at the same time homey and comfortable. There is authentic cultural music most nights in the lobby. The rooms are clean and appealing with comfortable beds. The staff, to a person, are friendly, helpful, and go out of there way for any question you may have. Ambiance at its best!! The food is plentiful and delicious and a great balance between Indonesian and Western. The spa services are excellent. Of the 8+ hotels visited on this month-long trip, this is undoubtedly the best by far and the others were also highly rateable and not all Santikas.

Pillows are massive, was very uncomfortable sleeping
