We had a wonderful stay at Atmosphere Resort & Spa. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect: the setting is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling — they truly make you feel special. Little touches like the handwritten note and local chocolates made our stay even more memorable. The food was excellent, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this resort and would love to come back one day. Thank you to the entire Atmosphere team!

It's rare that one receives top notch service even before becoming a confirmed customer. But this is what I experienced at Atmosphere. I was gobsmacked that Nenita answered my initial email with such detail and clarity that the anticipated email back and forth was not required. And the service did not stop with booking. Airport to resort, check-in, restaurant experiences, room, dive experience, bar, excursion planning and execution (including daily 4am trip to church). Atmosphere can be known by its smiles. The grounds are beautiful, and have an aesthetic I've not seen in the Philippines. Absolutely peaceful. Our room was bright and airy, and beautifully appointed. I loved the showers. We started planning our next trip while we were there, and Lemuel showed us a good selection of rooms. All clean and ready for the next guests. But, I shouldn't name names for everyone was special. Everyone smiled, from MD to groundsperson. My most special moments were that I had my first 3 dive experiences at Atmosphere. With B and Jan encouraging me, and Lor finally getting me out of the starting gates. And the boat team of course. Small things that pleased us? Well, yes, the smiles. But also the fresh milk delivered on request. The fact that meal courses came in order and not jumbled. The quality of the in-room coffee. That the reception staff did our peculiar little bookings without complaint. Thank you, Atmosphere Team. All of you.

I had an excellent stay at Atmosphere Resort & Spa. The resort is exceptionally clean, quiet, and well maintained, creating a very relaxing and comfortable environment throughout the stay. The diving center operations and services are highly professional, well organized, and managed by an experienced team, which made the diving experience smooth and enjoyable. Most importantly, the staff across the entire resort were outstanding—consistently helpful, cooperative, and attentive, with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. We had a great time at Atmosphere. It is a very well-designed resort, with tranquil spaces and a nice flow to the place. The yoga treehouse - and yoga classes - were a highlight for us, but the diving/snorkelling were also top class. Apo Island and the house reef are both excellent. The food and drink selections were very good - although we did go into the village a couple of times to get some local variety. Our garden room was good size (albeit we didn't need to use the kitchen at all, except to boil a kettle!)

Everything about Atmosphere is outstanding - the rooms, the grounds, food, bars and staff. Even when it’s pretty full, it never feels crowded. The snorkelling trip to Apo Island was fabulous. You should also treat yourself to the spa, especially the watsu treatment.

We stayed at Atmosphere Resorts & Spa in December 2025, and I genuinely have not one negative thing to say about our time there. This beautiful resort exceeded every expectation and delivered an unforgettable holiday in the Philippines. From the moment we arrived, the property impressed us with its impeccable maintenance. The gardens are meticulously manicured, creating a lush, tropical paradise, and the swimming pools are sparkling clean and inviting – perfect for relaxing after a day of diving or exploring. Our room was enormous, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully comfortable – easily one of the best we’ve ever had in a resort. Everything felt luxurious yet welcoming. The food was hands-down the highlight of the dining experience and probably the best hotel food I’ve ever enjoyed. The quality, presentation, and variety were outstanding, with excellent value for money. As my wife is celiac and requires strictly gluten-free options, the kitchen went above and beyond every single day, preparing special dishes for her that weren’t even on the menu. This level of personalized care and attention to dietary needs was truly remarkable and made her feel so valued. The staff are the heart of Atmosphere – they greet you warmly, smile genuinely, and simply cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. Special mentions go to Angelique in the restaurant, who was an absolute delight; Ray, the resort manageress, whose leadership shines through in every detail; the friendly and attentive pool attendants Arvin and Larry and waiters; and the entire dive centre team. The dive centre, capably run by Jan and his exceptional staff, is world-class. I dived with Aldi, who was superb – knowledgeable, safety-focused, and great fun underwater. My son completed his Open Water certification there with Lor, who was incredibly patient and turned what could have been a nerve-wracking experience into an absolute treat. The equipment is top-notch, and the diving itself (including the house reef and nearby sites) is phenomenal – easily some of the best muck and macro diving we’ve encountered. One thing to note for future guests: the beaches in this part of the Philippines (Dauin area) are volcanic with dark sand and pebbles, so they’re not the classic white-sand stretches ideal for long walks. But honestly, the incredible diving more than makes up for it – you come here for the underwater world, not the beach lounging! All in all, Atmosphere Resorts & Spa is a standout luxury dive resort with heartfelt hospitality. We’d give it an 11 out of 10 and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!will I return you can bet on it, I arrived as a guest and felt like family when I left.

We had such a fantastic time at Atmosphere Resorts & Spa! Our room was spacious and so comfy—the perfect place to crash after a long day. The entire staff was incredibly kind and always ready to help with a smile. The food was also great, though we would’ve loved to see a few more local Filipino dishes on the menu! A huge shoutout to the dive center. They are super professional, and we loved the small groups per guide. It made for some truly fabulous, stress-free dives. Can’t wait to go back!

The room was very spacious and clean, the resort was very well manicured, the food was good at the hotel restaurant, and the staff are very friendly and nice. The staff was very attentive, showing us the different places to dive and they have an extensive Dive team!

Nested in a great location near Apo Island, this resort is a good strategic location for many activities around Dumaguete and a top notch dive center. Grounds are beautiful and the rooms with all necessary amenities including and outside shower ! If you chose this place, you can swim with the whale sharks, visit a fabulous sand bar or dive the marine sanctuary of Apo island !

This Resort is amazing. Very well maintained with a beautiful surrounding, garden, pools, bar, restaurant and the bungalows are fantastic too. The beach is a bit rocky, dark sand but what’s underneath the water again is very beautiful. A big variation of soft and hard corals, a lot of fish and overall a well kept house-reef. The staff is so what of friendly courteous and skilled too. Also the served food is high quality and nicely presented. Not at last to mention the SCUBA diving -base and it’s offered dive-activities and professional schooling. Again high quality gear, competent staff and well maintained boats. Overall a little treasure on this side of the island and something I can recommend without blinking an eye.
