Nestled in the serene embrace of nature, we spent three blissful days and two peaceful nights at a resort that felt like a dream. It was a surprise getaway for my beloved parents, and watching them unwind in the tranquil surroundings was a gift in itself. Each morning, we savored the luxury of a floating breakfast in our villa, the gentle ripples of the water adding to the calm of the moment. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the enchanting birthday dinner in the treehouse, where the soft glow of candlelight danced among the leaves, creating a magical atmosphere. I do not usually write reviews, but this is important information to share with potential guests. 3 out of our group of 12 were sickened with an E-coli bacterial infection from the food while staying for a week at the resort. One person had to report it to the CDC upon returning to the US. I ended up in the hospital for 3 weeks and nearly died. I got sick on my last day and, traveling alone, had moved to another resort before the serious symptoms set in. The Atmosphere management team was aware of my illness but did not communicate or do ANYTHING to assist while I was sick, except to pass on their well wishes through my travel agent. After I was discharged from the hospital, they sent an email wishing me a speedy recovery and a promise they would "look into" their food & beverage practices. This dismissive attitude for a life-threatening situation is not acceptable. I do not want anyone else to get sick from this resort or potentially worse! To date, they have not confirmed that they have found or rectified the E-coli source. The grounds ARE beautiful. However, the hotel has an overall "corporate" feel. It does not show off the Filipino warmth and hospitality. The staff seem to unnaturally be trying to please the guests which comes across as artificial. I also found the beds to be very uncomfortable. I do, however, recommend the dive operations which were excellent. You can stay at another place "off campus" and use their dive operations. Just don't eat the food!

This beautiful resort just gets better every year. The addition of the inspirational reception area tells you a lot about the wonderful grounds and accommodations you are about to experience. Although the grounds and many apartments are extensive, we never felt as though it was too big or too busy to be well looked after. All the staff were very polite, attentive, knew us by our first names and looked after our every need - special GF dietary requirements and scuba diving preferences - without feeling cramped. The scuba diving is wonderful as are the guides and boats. We will definitely return.

Absolutely brilliant stay! Our fourth time here and our favourite place ever to visit, it’s just like coming home to family. The staff are all amazing and nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is always varied and delicious, and the accommodation is stunning. The new reception area is simply beautiful. Love love love it at Atmosphere!

We spent 6 nights in this amazing hotel. We were part of a group and were amazed at how well they looked after us all. All the staff were very attentive and happy to help with whatever they could and very genuine in nature. The massages were some of the best my husband and I have had. The food was top quality. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. We got an upgrade with a plunge pool which we were very grateful for. This is by far the best place we have ever stayed in. It was incredible! Thankyou to all the staff who made our stay so memorable.

We’ve just returned from our stay at Atmosphere. We travelled as a part of a group. The resort is lovely and tranquil and the ability to go and snorkel from the beach on the beautiful reef and see turtles was very special. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with a huge bed. Facilities were great with 3 pools to choose from. An indoor gym would be a welcome addition. The current gym offering is quite substandard. The spa treatments were lovely and the staff were experts in making you feel relaxed and pampered. Massages were the best I’ve ever had. Rooms were refreshed every day with an evening turn down service. The restaurant menu is vast and all meals were delicious with an excellent wine and cocktails choice, and of a quality you’d find at a high end restaurant. The staff really made the stay special. I’ve not been anywhere else where the staff are so friendly, attentive and helpful. They deserve more than 5 stars. We loved it and would definitely recommend.

Sorry I wasted my money here. I had visited a few years ago when we were treated so very well but now things have definitely been let go. The spa, not only over booked us but then insisted we just share rooms while getting a treatment. No people - we do NOT share with staff particularly when we had specifically requested and had appointments booked at separate times but the spa team didn’t care at all. And the treatment themselves, I finally had to have mine in an upstairs back bedroom hotel room - was very average as the therapist had to run into the bathroom to cough, a very nasty sounding cough which clearly showed she was sick and should not have been working. Never again. So no word when I complained until three days later when someone finally contacted me to offer one of us a replacement massage. Seriously!! Poor.

Wild Earth Expeditions has now visited Atmosphere 4 times and every time it's a fantastic stay and we are well looked after. It's a gorgeous resort property, the food is delicious, the dive team are outstanding, management is doing a great job, and the muck diving is simply fantastic. Green turtles on almost all dives. The drift dives, walls and soft corals of Apo island are equally stunning. Thanks again for a fabulous stay...we'll be back
