This is the second time staying at Protea in chingola. Food and hospitality great. Friendly staff.

Nice location, beautyfull terrace with pool, friendly and supportive staff.

Kind of worn down hotel from better times.

I used this an overnight stop to Solwezi as I left Ndola later than planned. Have stayed here many times. It is not overpriced and meals are ok. The rooms are always comfortable and the team are always helpful.

The internet connection of just bad, I could not get any meaningful connection in my room, which is the first time. As I stayed in an area of the hotel I don't normally stay in, maybe this was the reason. Also, in the morning, I was unable to get a tax receipt because the printer was not working. Most people staying here are on business, these things matter.

Breakfast was good. Staff very polite and friendly.

The rooms are direly in need of renovation. Floor tiles very tatty, TV had to be changed because it stopped working. Bathroom toilet seat needs changing-scratched and lumpy. Door latch had come off and was put at the side-so no security of latch. Curtains not closing properly.

The Staff members service was excellent, very polite and professional.The breakfast at the restaurant was very good as well!. The buffet had a wide variety.
