Happy Bear Motel

Great location. Exactly as advertised.

Some people might scoff at motels, but you can’t beat the price and convenience of this place. After a long day of being outdoors on the mountain, all you do is pull into the parking lot, park your vehicle, and you’re inside your room in 4 seconds.. Can’t beat the efficiency. I realized how much time I waste at hotels finding parking, then walking approximately 5-7 minutes to my room with a stupid mask on.. gets old. Plus this place is in walking distance to two of the best restaurants in Killington. The Garlic and Sushi Yoshi.

This motel is for college kids. It is old and run down inside. Beds were not comfortable, furniture is old and beat up. Walls are thin so you hear all the kids coming back from the pickle barrel in the middle of the night. This place is fine as a budget option when the price is in the $60's for a night but not for $160/night. The free breakfast was a couple pieces of bread and some mini muffins. I would not stay again. The only positive was the staff was friendly. There also was not enough parking in the lot when i checked in late.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Parking is really easy (no downhills to contest with like at other spots). Walkable to multiple restaurants and an easy drive to Killington. Breakfast was basic, but nice to grab a cup of coffee and muffin before heading out. There aren’t a ton of amenities here, but for skiing we really just need a comfortable place to crash after being on the mountain all day. Shower was really hot and great after being out all day too!

This is an older hotel that some people may feel is outdated. Serve the purpose of sleeping in the room was clean. I will stay there again

it was just a basic place to sleep. rooms cleaned, plenty of room. no frills. We came to ski so we are not spending much time in the room.

While there electric went out and theowner keep usinformed about it. Didn't last long and it was down the street not the property. Very nice people run this place. Its not high end but very comfortable. Price is right. Will stay there again in the future.

Plenty of room. TV with some kind of cable. Very friendly husband and wife team of proprietors. Not so comfortable beds. Great location. Great value.

Good location, well priced, would stay there again.
